Morgan and Shirley are great hosts and the room they present was well appointed and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. They were full of information about the area and have a extensive compendium in the room for you to find all the little nuggets that Kaikōura has to offer.
Would definitely stay here again.

Very good location, the mountain just next to it. Beds with heater that was awesome however the toilet have smell and stain.

We wholeheartedly recommend this hotel.
There are all the amenities, large rooms, excellent service, there is a barbecue and your own access to the beach.

The room is a living room and two bedrooms. The boss's English is accented and I can't understand it well. The room is very close to the coast and there are railway tracks next to it. Four trains pass by it a day. It takes about ten minutes to drive to see the seals. Due to the weather, the whale watching activities were canceled and we didn’t get to eat the lobsters.
