Comfortable and reassuring. I heard from the locals that this hotel used to be a department store. It's only a 5-minute walk to the performance venue, and it's much quieter than the bustling city center. I was surprised to find the heated pool open in winter, complete with a slide, bubble pool, building blocks, and books. Our room also had building blocks and books. Our trip felt relaxed and unhurried. The hotel is very photogenic, with beautiful scenery at every turn. Although the hotel itself doesn't have a restaurant (it's a small hotel with only two floors and not many rooms), you can walk two minutes to Meitang Hotel for breakfast, which was quite good.

We had a wonderful stay at the ChaoQi Hotel. After a smooth check-in, a convenient cart picked us up and brought us directly to our room door. The location is incredible, situated inside the Chikan resort where you can find numerous restaurants, shops, and attractions. A great perk was that our stay included entry tickets, giving us the chance to enjoy many of the resort's lively shows. Our room was super comfortable, impeccably clean, and very family-friendly. Our kids especially loved the indoor playground on the ground floor. The buffet breakfast offered a fantastic variety of options, featuring multiple live stations with both Asian and Western choices. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again if I return to the Kaiping area.

A wonderful place to visit! The kids had a great time in the ball pit and kids’ room. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Overall, it was a relaxing and enjoyable experience.

Upon Checkin the receptionist was quite stern and unfriendly. Rather disappointing considering the hotel is advertised as a family friendly hotel.
Location was great but hotel staff were unable to speak English.
Breakfast was inadequate because many things were unavailable once finished. They were unable to replenish the food. The hotel should consider getting more coffee machines. There was always a queue for coffee.
The ancient city was fantastic. I’ll definitely return but not to this hotel.

I came here after reading a lot of travel guides. It was a perfect stay. The hotel has complete facilities for children. Every check-in point is very photogenic.
