Alsos House

Quite difficult to find the way trough the small streets but once you are there the landscape is breathtaking. No specific mention to the hosts as we interact rarely but the young lady from the reception was very responsive to our request and she present us the rooms and the facilities. there's no specific place for parking but you can place your car on the street with no problem as the route is very low circulated. the rooms are OK, clean and enough spacious. The bathroom also clean but the shower was outdated. Breakfast is OK, corect... no specific thing to mention. I was expecting to more local food (olives, sweets, natural orange juice...). The only noise I have heard during the night was from the young guys running on their motorcycles. All in all, I recommend this stay but all in all I consider the Kalambaka location overrated especially out of the season.

The hotel is located right under the rocks of Meteora. An incredible view opens from the terrace. We were accommodated in this part of the hotel, which is in an authentic and old style. Each room had a different name. The hotel is quite clean and well maintained. The breakfast is on a buffet with enough variety. Only the coffee is Schwarz. The central station with the restaurants is 5-10 minutes away

Room was large, impeccably clean, nicely apportioned. Seemed like we were staying at a much more expensive hotel. We opted not to do the breakfast as it seemed a bit expensive. Staff was friendly and helpful.

This was one of the nicest places we stayed at in Greece. We had a small balcony with stunning views of the monoliths. The room was cosy, and the bed was comfy. The wifi worked well too. We were close to the Holy Trinity hiking trail, which was a nice activity for our last day. We were also within walking distance of the town, so it was easy to get to restaurants. Highly recommended.

The hotel was excellent. The room big and comfortable, the decor with the balcony looking at the Meteora stone was more than I could dream. the room shower, bed all were excellent. Breakfast was very good, and location was very close to center by walking. The staff were very nice and help us with our driving around. Defiantly book there,
