We went for a Friday weekend and chose this hotel because it had the facilities (hamam, sauna, jacuzzi). However, we were informed that the hamam was not working (1st disappoin**ent). Because something happened to us on Friday, we were late to the hotel and arrived 23:30 in the evening. For this reason we asked the gentleman at the reception if we can leave a little later after the specified check-out time (11:00), there was no tolerance and besides that he told us that the specific room where we are staying is booked for the next few days. I did a search and there was availability in all hotel search applications for this particular hotel (2nd disappoin**ent). I simply will not book this particular hotel again.

I wonder why this hotel is not five star... Terrible, spotlessly clean rooms decorated to a high standard with an amazing view!!! Amazing bed, big LCD TV and amazing bathroom!!! The breakfast is so rich that we didn't have to eat lunch... It has a parking lot and they give you a free half hour of Sauna, steam bath or jacuzzi... It is certain that I will stay only at filoxenia when I visit Kalavrita again.

Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Delicious breakfast with a nice variety of food choices. Comfortable beds. Really enjoyed the hotel breakfast. Quite a variety of things to do nearby, small shops and several tasty restaurants nearby.

Luxury room with great facilities. Friendly staff and in the centre of this small town in reach of all restaurants/bars etc Breakfast was varied and plentiful. Very good value for money and would highly recommend. However the spa was being refurbished during our stay and as our stay included free use and we were only told a few days before hand, a small refund or bottle of wine in room would have been appreciated

Very well located, a stone's throw from the train station and the main street. Breakfast with choice. A good address for a trip to the mountains. Very friendly welcome. Very good value for money. The Spa was under renovation but the hotel had warned us a month earlier. We recommend

The hotel is bright and airy and the rooms are comfortable, spacious with a really nice bathroom. This, however, is not what merits special attention We booked the Filoxenia for three nights for our visit to Kalavryta. However, it proved to be an eventful stay in more ways than one. On our first evening there, we visited the Holocaust Memorial and at some point, I received a bite on my leg. On the afternoon on the second day, I started to feel unwell. At first, I believed it might be Covid but it was not. I ended up in the local hospital with a bacterial infection on my leg and had to have intravenous antibiotics. During this time, the hotel and the staff were magnificent. They kept the room open for my wife and looked after her. They made up breakfasts for me in the hospital. They even sent me boxes of cakes and biscuits. I cannot praise them highly enough. To be taken ill in a foreign country is a daunting prospect but to have that level of service was so heartening. They even volunteered to come to the hospital and translate for us So, if you are looking to stay in Kalavryta, this hotel offers everything you want and more. We will never forget the kindness and service we received ❤️

Very nice hotel, attractive price in summer and very well decorated, super welcoming. Excellent value. We will come back to it! Well located in the city center. Friendly welcome, very well decorated room and copious and varied breakfasts, not to be missed.
