This property is not air conditioned. The area was having a heat wave during our stay there. The owner did not even provide box fans. There are ceiling fans, but with my 6'4" husband and 7' ceilings, it wasn't practical to use them unless in bed. While A/C was not listed on the property listing, No A/C was also not listed. When I contacted the property owner our first evening (late) about how to use the air conditioning, she informed me there was none. She then told me that some guests use the 2 window units that were in the closet and I was welcome to hook them up. She sent me a YouTube video with installation instructions. It was evident that the units had never been used because all the packaging was still in tact. Even if we had the time to install them (we didn't...we were on a road trip and just passing through) there were no tools provided. Some other things to note - There are no blinds on the windows, only decorative valances. The bright lights from the gas station across the street shown in the bedroom all night not to mention the gas station and highway noise that was unavoidable due to needing to sleep with an open window because of no A/C. The property also has a shared driveway with a house that has heavy equipment and vehicles (working and non-working) parked in their yard and driveway. It was obvious this is a remodel job on an old home. Unfortunately, there are too many incomplete projects to make it a nice place to stay.

The home is beautiful. Unfortunately, you can't control neighbors or make them take pride in their property, but this property was wonderful. Would be nice if there was more than 1 television, but it was great regardless.

The house looks like it's been recently renovated. We lost sewer for one day, but the host worked hard I'm having it fixed. The heat doesn't make it to the upper floors in the winter time, but the host provided additional blankets and comforters. There is parking for about three vehicles alongside the house, with additional parking at a nearby business.
