The hotel staff are fantastic and always willing to offer help when required. the check out time of 12pm allowed me to really explore the wonderful city of Kalmar in the morning of departure, which is a huge plus for me. the bar had a lovely ambience, the breakfast was excellent in terms of variety, freshness and flavour. The rooms were everything you needed them to be, cosy and comfortable with a very nice ensuite wetroom. All in all I was very impressed and can't wait to stay here again.

The hotel was within walking distance of the train station. Our room was nicely decorated with a very comfortable bed, nice towels and amenities and was very clean. Our room was not on the street side and was very quiet. Breakfast was also good quality with lots of options. We had one issue crop up which the staff quickly resolved. The only issue was no air conditioning in the room and since we were on the ground floor, we didn’t want to leave the window open while we slept. This wasn’t too uncomfortable in May but would be if it was hot outside. It may also have been noisy having an open window over the outside seating area along the street.

Fint hotel med meget central placering. Dejligt med både restaurant og pub på stedet. Venligt og imødekommen personale. Bemærk at wellness ikke er inkluderet i overnatningsprisen. Selv det "store" værelse på 13 m2 var småt. Der mangler plads til at kunne udpakke sin kuffert. Dejlig stor seng.

Amazing and impressive building, and very nice rooms. The interior suffers a bit from from various renovations in different styles and the bar and lobby area wasn't very cosy and also played a very annoying modern jazz muzak in the evening. And despite a do not disturb sign, a chamber maid walked right in around 10 in the morning. But, still, a very nice hotel all in all and the rates are very moderate. We'd be happy to return.
