The breakfast is a typical Japanese breakfast. The room is very comfortable. The tatami mats and thick quilts are so exploding. The service attitude is also very good. We went on New Year's Day. A small upclass onsen ryokan situated near Zao onsen but a bit far away, you will easily missed the hotel entrance if not careful, the atmosphere is peaceful and you can hear the sound of nature (forest), quite a nice ryokan, but it would be better if they provide kettle in room instead of having to travel to the hotel lobby to obtain hot water.
