Hotels Near 足の口観音堂のしだれ桜 in Kaminoyama

It was very good. I went by motorcycle, but it was raining on the day, so it was good to recommend it to a place with a roof.

Located in the innermost part of the pension village, this is an inn where you can enjoy a refreshing view. The building that was handed over from the previous owner was about 40 years old, but the water area was renovated very nicely, so I was able to stay comfortably. I asked for a course where I could enjoy Zao beef fillet with two meals per night, but I was surprised that all the dishes were very delicious and beautifully arranged. In particular, Tsurumurasaki's pasta has a good balance of kelp soup and you can eat as much as you want. I was staying for a family birthday celebration, but I was able to spend a blissful time with a surprise birthday cake prepared. It is a very nice pension with delicious food and friendly owner's thoughtfulness.

We arrived at Mt Zao in the middle of Our Epic Six Week Trip To Japan, during which we stayed in nine different hotels. This room was amongst my favourites. The staff largely didn't speak English and were not helpful. We had a stand off at the restaurant as we didn't understand that we couldn't dine at there without having made a booking far in advance. After this was explained,  there was no apology or suggestions for alternative dining options. There are limited dining options in Zao. We ate at the Soup Curry place one night and a cute sushi joint another night. On the last night we ended up getting an ebiken bento box from the local L****ns as nothing was open. We did book breakfast each morning and that was fantastic. Lots of Japanese and Western options and it seemed like the food had all been prepared onsite. The hotel is very pretty, with a lovely view of the forest from the lobby. There is a common room with free coffee, tea and ice creams. People were pretty friendly in there. The hotel is the furthest from the 'town' but the closest to the ski lift and to the 'sulfurous' onsen. The ski lift is about 50 metres from the hotel and the ride up and down is spectacular. I thought the onsen was top notch. The sulfurous onsen outside has milky water that is supposed to be good for your complexion. It was fun having an onsen with snow all around. We stayed in the Western style room - it was spacious and well appointed. Our little lounge area had a beautiful view of pine trees and lots of snow. There was also a similar view from the luxurious bath tub (but I didn't use that tub as the onsen was so good.) The beds in our room were very hard. Our room also had a massage chair which I used for hours a time. It was a bit of a trek getting to Mt Zao. The hotel staff weren't very helpful with organising buses but they did drop us off at the bus stop early in the morning and we were picked up on our day of arrival. I know that the staff weren't friendly to us because of the language barrier, which is a shame because everyone should enjoy this venue. I would stay here again for sure. Next time we'll book the dinner set. It did smell amazing ! --

I usually stay at Zao International Hotel, but I couldn't make a reservation this time, so I tried to make this inn with a relatively high evaluation. As for Zao International Hotel, I have written a review many times in the past. In comparison with the hotel, I will write the impression of this inn. １． Location It is in front of the bus terminal and is a convenient place to come by bus. It is also suitable for a joint bath. However, if you are skiing, you need to take a bus to the ropeway mountain foot station or walk through the hot spring town with a board. In this respect, it is located on a high level a little far from the hot spring town and is more convenient to Zao International Hotel, which is almost directly connected to the genre. ２． facilities It is a quite large inn, but it is a building with a year. However, the inside is clean. The front desk is on the first floor. From the entrance to the outside, you will get down another floor. Also, to go upstairs from the fourth floor, you need to change the elevator. It's a bit troublesome to often go out and out from the upper floor. Zao International Hotel also has multiple buildings, and the entrance and exit are quite walkable at １ places, so both are the same in this respect. The rooms are renovated neatly and nothing is wrong. However, you can't enjoy the luxurious construction and view, such as Zao International Hotel Minami Kan. ３． Hot spring The large bath with open-air bath is not bad, but the facilities around the water are deteriorating a little. It is not possible to deteriorate rapidly due to the influence of hydrogen sulfide gas, but it seems to be better to put your hand in soon. The open-air bath is small. The bathroom facilities are not enemy to Zao International Hotel, including ４ rental baths. However, the use situation of hot springs was a little better than Zao International Hotel, which did not have any water from the source in the hot spring, and was pulling hot water using the natural slope. ４． Meals I think both inn tastes more than average. However, the tsuruya sukiyaki tare felt too little 々 sweet for us. Also, I was a little worried that I would not eat until I finished eating when I cooked. Zao International Hotel was better in these respects. ５． Customer service Everyone was polite and the front desk was also good. I wrote it again in the review of Zao International Hotel, but Zao International Hotel has a number of employees at the front desk who are in a terrible mine. The management, who left it alone, was really negligent, because they were just responding to the guests and they were slashing the overall hotel rating. It is an iron rule to stay comfortably at Zao International Hotel that does not approach the front desk as much as possible and checks carefully before paying. In this respect, it is a victory of vines. (It may be accurate that Zao International Hotel is too bad.)

We loved the whole experience at Omiya Ryokan in Zao Onsen. We had a spacious and generously proportioned corner room and a lovely view over the village. The Kaiseki dinners and breakfasts were incredible and so carefully served. Omiya’s staff were lovely, and I want especially to mention Ishiyama-san for her wonderful help in making forward bookings for us and organising our suitcase to be sent onwards. She was always so smiling and patient. The ryokan’s Onsen was beautiful and we enjoyed it every day, wearing our Omiya yukatas. The outside onsen foot-bath was a lovely touch, and, hoping for enough late-season snow we even managed two lovely ski days!

The location is good. Room is decent equipped with heater that I think is time to replace seems not working very well. The breakfast and dinner especially is very worth n nice. First night we had pork shabu shabu n second night lamb BBQ. The staffs in restaurants r friendly n good, especially the old uncle n Philippo lady . Can see all the local staffs sort of rely or keep letting the lady work only as she speak english. In other words, a bit taking advantage of her. onsen is also nice especially the outdoor with trees n snow feel. The front desk staffs r very bad. There is one young guy that just stand there and when I carry my little girl with one hand while another hand pushing luggage where I need to push the entrance door. During check in, even the philipino girl helped to push the luggage inside while the same guy just stand there n look. Another more serious attitude guy was the older shorter guy with mole on his face, I parked my car in front as there was no parking didn't know is the hotel's van lot, the guy spoke with to remove the car like scolding n yelling at me. Super bad attitude. Lastly the air filter in the room, the cleaning standard operating procedure should include cleaning the water tank n it's surrounding. Looks very dirty with mold. Overall is worth your money n experience just some negative experiences by some bad staffs. Not missing another issue is the smoking room, is the exactly at the entrance n next to the welcome drinks sofa (though with ventilation n dedicated room but still can smell the smoke)

The inside of the room is in a state where you can clearly see the signs of repair after the wallpaper was torn, but the size of the room may be on the larger side for a single. The Super Hotel Group talks about LOHAS, so it seems like they are paying attention to the environment, but even though the breakfast buffet claims to be a healthy breakfast, I still don't know how healthy it is. The hot springs are open as much as you like from 3:00pm to 9:00am the next day, and although the bathrooms are not large, we enjoyed them to the fullest. Also, since the rooms are PIN-coded and there are no keys or cards, I think it's a good idea to be able to leave the room without having to go through any formalities when checking out.

Prime location. Appreciate they gave us a small gift , as this is our honeymoon trip. There is convenient store at the lobby , reception is at 3rd floor. Room is spacious with massage chair. After hiking and skiing , that massage chair really help a lot on our back !! 😉 There is car park at this hotel, JPY 1000 per day. Walking distance to shopping mall , 100 yen shop , and a lot restaurant nearby

Just off the deck in front of Yamagata Station, good access along the big street in front of the station. It is also convenient to the restaurant town in front of the station. Because it is not a big hotel, there is no special feature, but the room is clean and comfortable, there is no luxury, but there is also a free breakfast, and the price was relatively reasonable. The minimum required functions were complete and perfect to stay simple. In addition, since there is no parking lot around, it is difficult to park far away (opposite the main street, parking JA Yamagata, ３ block away). It is recommended for those who don't care about here.

It was a hotel directly connected to Yamagata Station. The weather was good on the day I stayed, the mountain 々 was clear at dusk, and I was able to see a beautiful moon at night. If you walk in front of the station, there are restaurants and supermarkets, so I think it's not troublesome to stay. There was also a convenience store on the １ floor. I would like to take care of you again when you go to Yamagata.
