Arriving we were put in a dungeon of a room. No windows and a very stiff door that jammed, healthy and safety alert! Food is so bad 4 of us have eaten in town most days costing us in bus fair. Spent well over €600. They can’t even get chips right they are dry and well over cooked. Snack bar is the same. Over cooked chips every day! Sandwiches on dry bread with sad fillings. We tried to eat the fruit but only thing that tasted ok was the bananas. “Water park” where joke! No supervision for anyone using it so could easily cause injury. Stairs are wooden and rotten could collapse any day. I read reviews days before we were due to travel and saw mixed reviews. Everyone we have spoken to has been massively let down by this place. With out a doubt my worst holiday ever!

Hotel ładnie zagospodarowany, pokoje duże i czyste.

During our seven day stay at Chrispy, I had the privilege to personally experience that Matt Turna is truly the heart and soul of the Chrispy experience. His high spirits and brilliant personality inspired my family and and myself greatly!

We were a family of 11, 8 adults, 3 children, we had good rooms over looking the pool, and also could see the sea occupying 4 rooms. Pools were great no issues with sunbeds. We used the snack bar during the day, was OK, food was a good choice, just a shame just warm. They do have an issue, getting plates, cups and cutlery stocked up, you can be waiting. While there we had an issue with clothing going missing, we did report it, they were going to ask the maids but we never herd anymore. Overall it was a nice 10 days, spent with family, would we go back again, I'm afraid not, we found the other side of the island much better.

I wasn’t expecting 5* but first impressions to make a difference. As soon as we got to the hotel there were a group of young lads sat in the wall outside in tracksuits smoking. Instantly put me off. Arrived at 2pm and told can’t check in till 3pm. Went for a late lunch in the restaurant and there was not much choice at all. Our room which was very average - we stayed in room 604. Not alot of walking around room as we had our infant son with us so had a travel cot but it was ok seeing as we were only going to be there 4 nights. Ground floor room and the patio doors didn’t lock, luckily I took sellotape with me to tape the lock up so it stayed locked when we were out of the room not ideal but nothing we could do about it. Small bathroom and awkward shower. Tv did not work at all, couldn’t get any channels One bonus was the bed was comfy. Food was very basic, the gyros that is available by the pool was the nicest food we had there. Cocktails were awful so wouldn’t recommend. Two out of the 4 days we were there we couldn’t get a high chair for my son so he had to eat his dinner in his pushchair, for the amount of children that were staying here there were no where near enough high chairs. The pool area was extremely slippery so had to walk very slow, hard to do with a 19 month old so my son slipped over quite a few times. Very cold water but the water park area was actually very good, my little boy loved the children’s slides. There is a play area with swings which was in good condition so we went here quite a lot. Luckily we rented a car for 2 out of our 4 days there as there was nothing in the area for us so this improved our holiday a lot. Very good price to rent a car we payed €80 for 48 hours that includes to hire a car seat. Car was not very clean inside but did the job for us. I couldn’t have spent more than 4 days here so luckily we didn’t book here for the week. I won’t be staying here again, there are a lot of things that need to be improved and updated. Crispys id say is barely a 3*…. But each to their own some might like it here

On arrival we were greeted by a lovely lady who placed our all inclusive bands on, she then stated food will be finished soon so leave your luggage here and check in when you’ve finished. We followed the instructions ate something small then returned. We were then asked to fill a form out, while doing so I noticed others had already completed their form so they had declined the offer of food. Once we were given the key the same lady (sorry I should have asked her name) made sure we had the WiFi code and then walked us to our home for a few days. I feel this was a lovely thing to do and made us feel at ease. We found the WiFi works in the communal areas but not in the apartments. Downloads were reasonable speeds. The room and balcony were beautiful and clean and faced the local town, but sadly due to my own stupidness it had no kettle or iron. Always check your telly on arrival as we found late on the first night that we had no channels at all. This was reported via reception where the younger receptionist lady stated this could be fixed in the morning. We were fine with that as we know from experience you can only really watch uk news. However, later on we found it actually just needed retuning, you will need a passcode to do this on the remote. Later that night the electricity went out, fortunately the rooms have the circuit boards near your front door inside so I unplugged all electrical goods and turned it back on myself. Retuned the plugs one by one not a problem. This happened a few times to the point I called reception again. A lovely maintenance guy came, he was very patient and calm with me and resolved the problem. Once leaving the problem happened again, I cannot fully remember how many times this had happened but can remember on the last time the electricity blew for the whole block, I and others called reception this time a different man came, he wore a shirt and may have been the DM for the night. He told myself and others that he cannot get hold of the maintenance man so we will have to wait until the morning for electricity. This was our first night, as you may guess I was not happy about this. I began getting a bit irate with this man as I’ve worked in hospitality myself and would never give that kind of service. No offer of candles or torches just as simple wait until tomorrow. My room was a mess as we had just began unpacking it felt like he was just abandoning us. Anyway thankfully while arguing with the rude receptionist/ DM ? The trustworthy maintenance man turned up, I asked the other man to leave as he wasn’t helping the situation. The maintenance man sorted it out then remained in my room for a good 40mins, not once did he huff or puff he was so calm and pleasant. The next day the weather was amazing helping us to relax by the pool, be warned the red slide next to the big blue one is a massive hazard. We saw a few victims at the bottom with cuts and swelling on elbows. We were abit apprehensive as to the

We stayed from the 16th-23rd May 2024, 2 adults, 15 and 12 year old boys and 19 month old little girl. We stayed in an upgraded family room, which included a separate bedroom adjacent to the main room for the teenagers, which led out to the terrace. Rooms are on the small side, but adequate. Bathroom with shower over the bath was good, apart from the awkwardly placed shower which because it wasn’t behind the shower screen, caused a flood whenever it was on. The cleanliness was not to a good standard (don’t look under the beds 🤢) and could do with being improved upon. The usual room amenities like a kettle, iron, even a clothes dryer for wet swimwear were not available which was disappointing. Food was very basic. Although we didn’t starve, there’s always chips and salad, it’s just very repetitive, boring and bland. The same food being offered daily with very little (if any) variation. We always do all inclusive holidays, and this one has been the worst for food unfortunately in terms of quality and lack of variety. The alcoholic drinks also weren’t great, but we’re not big drinkers so that didn’t really bother us. The kids did not enjoy the fizzy drinks and said they tasted funny. Entertainment wise, was very repetitive also, which is no fault of Matt Turna as he is single handedly doing all the day time and evening entertainment. The best night was the acrobats which were rather impressive. The water slides allowed the teenagers and adults alike some fun and the smaller child pool and slide was a hit with the toddler. However, be wary of the yellow slide, you may end up with skinned elbows like one of us, and many others we spoke to, including one of the lifeguards! The small play park was a nice addition for our little one too. Although be aware, that around the park and other rooms nearby, there are open gates that allow anyone walking by to enter the resort, rendering it insecure. Not that we personally would allow this of our kids, but we did see families with smaller children (4/5/6 year olds) running around with no adults present. This was a concern based off the lack of security into the resort. The staff were generally approachable and friendly. However, we were told when we checked in at 0100 on the 17th May that we could have a late checkout due to having a small child who would need to sleep and quiet time through the day as we weren’t being picked up until 2200 on the 23rd. It was reiterated that this was not a problem and would be catered for. The lady also wrote this in the communication diary to inform other staff. Then on the 22nd we went to reception to confirm this, to be told “no there’s no late check out, we’re fully booked.” Checkout is at 11am! To say we were frustrated was an understatement. We argued our point that this was unacceptable as we have a small child and need the room for longer than 11am, and that surely new guests aren’t all arriving mid morning/afternoon. A compromise was made for 1600 on the 23rd. We

Hotel is very comfortable and has a lot of attracltions , tasty food, very kind Staff, but the man who outshines all od this is Matt Turna. He is a volcano od positive energy and from dusk till dawn with an enormous smile he always invites both young and old for all kind of activities. From morning stretching through aquazumba, facepainting, minidisco and concluding with amazing and FUNtastic evening show, Matt always guarantees excellent fun. Best vacations in my life!!!

I was a hotel guest during the May 11 incident. I confirm the version of events described by the hotel management. I saw the behavior of the mother of a 2-year-old child, her pretentious brawling. Lack of interest in what her child is doing at the moment. The child was running around the place where the adults were having fun. After the animator (Matt) asked the parent to take the child away because he might get hurt, the woman started an argument. Which forced a break in the fun. The opinion about the quality of food and service at the hotel is distorted due to the incident. The lifeguards were in the water park, one at the top of the slide, the other at the bottom, and they communicated with each other via walkie-talkies (as well as the other hotel staff). The food was warm and well-cooked (is it tasty? - a matter of taste), fresh pizza, pancakes made in front of guests, chicken and other meat also baked in front of guests. Fresh cakes and salads with vegetables and fruits. I did not experience any digestive problems throughout my stay. The rooms and toilets are clean, cleaned every day, bed linen and towels are changed. The animator, Matt, is very nice and friendly, and most importantly, very involved in organizing various activities throughout the day (painting children's faces, stretching, darts, Zumba and many others).
