Best Western Plus Kamloops Hotel

The people working here were so pleasant and friendly, everything was super clean, pool amazing, great free breakfast. Loved it will be back

I would have given the hotel full stars if not for the hidden fee we were asked to pay when we arrived an hour and a half before their official check in time! They said the room was ready BUT they charge $30 for early check in! That was our very first encounter with staff when we arrived after a long, tiring winter journey. It definitely soured our stay! I have never encountered an ‘early check in fee’ at any other place we have stayed and we have booked many hotel rooms including Best Western in other locations. What a shock, especially when the room was ready! A huge annoyance as well as we were literally left sitting in the lobby waiting for check in. We were able to store our luggage at the hotel and walk around the block but the location is an urban, commercial *****, not an attractive area to wait in. When I emailed the hotel afterwards to complain to the manager I got nothing but run around and lame excuses for the charge, something about giving housekeeping staff more time to get the room ready. Give me a break, the room WAS READY. The hotel is clean and the facilities new, but we don’t recommend it at all due to being asked to pay $30 just to check in an hour and a half early.

I love this hotel! It was my first time staying here, and I would book here again in the future. The hotel staff were accommodating and friendly. Our room was super comfortable - the bed's mattresses were so nice and soft! Our room was very clean. We really enjoyed the salt water pool and the jets in the hot tub.

I stay here often, because my work brings me to Kamloops often. It's my favourite hotel to stay in, parking is never a problem and can accommodate large vehicles. I can plug in my block heater overnight. They have electric car charging now (not that I will ever willingly own one.. but kudos to you for saving the planet if you do). Never had a bad stay, the staff are great and always able to accommodate my strange schedule (late arrivals, early departures with a bag lunch since the Ok, the breakfast is pretty decent too.. I recommend room # 201 because there's a massaging chair in there!

Food wasn’t great this time around unfortunately but always great service!

Large room and very clean. There was a loud buzz in the room that was intermittent through the night. Seemed to be an electrical issue.

Rooms were clean breakfast was awesome if the kids are happy that's all that matters and they loved it all
