Riverland Inn & Suites

We stayed here for one night on our way to Banff. The facilities were basic, but the room was clean and tidy. Our first-floor room opened out onto a grassy courtyard by the river, which offered nice views. The second-floor rooms with balconies also have good river views. A simple breakfast is included, making it great value for money. I recommend it.

The hotel doesn't seem to have much security, just one man in the lobby. The room facilities are decent, but the bedding was a bit unclean. They offer free breakfast, and the view near the river valley is quite nice.

Extremely old. I definitely wouldn't have booked this place if it weren't for the lack of available rooms during peak summer travel. When we checked in, the hotel was still clearing out a wasp nest, and there were bees and wasps flying everywhere throughout the entire hotel.

This hotel is really more like a 2-star or motel-level place, but it's okay for an overnight stop on the way to Banff since it's by the river and parking is convenient.
