We wouldn't even visit this one night at the hotel for a private celebration. The horrible end was the locked breakfast that cannot be harmonised with the price called. At the neighbouring table a lady asked for a grain bread, this was denied. There was no breakfast buffet, but was served after a order! How long the sauce and cheese had been “uncooled” at the table, of course, it is not possible to see. I find this inappropriate and obvious austerity under the cover “Corona” completely in addition, as well as the very (!) unfriendly service (grey hair) in the dining room. There would be an urgent need for coaching! Humanly defect! Unfortunately, the limited time for breakfast was not informed us in advance. The speech with the notice was accordingly unprofessional and aggressive. I have not experienced something after countless hotel stays. I ask quite simple and simple things: friendliness (not cost). A suitable choice at breakfast! Conclude: Coaching staff (friendly) ++++++ Improve breakfast performance because it is defect. Note: Whoever wants to have breakfast in a pleasant and friendly environment in the morning and wants to find a “normal” selection is wrong here!

Visited as part of a Scottish Hockey Team, 21 of us in total, most stayed here, but a couple stayed across the road, we saw a double room It was small no air conditioning but still a decent room. Friendly checkin from luvly welcoming staff, on the Thursday evening when we arrived, the two ladies on reception were very efficient at checking us in, also very good serving us drinks once everyone had returned from having dinner. Other teams were also staying, so the place was very busy during the tournament. We had room 508, which was luvly, spacious, and clean with plenty shelving and wardrobe space, a safe and a fridge. with a view of the gardens. The bathroom was spacious with good storage areas for toiletries, makeup, etc. a decent hairdryer and magnifying mirror, and a good shower, the room was cleaned daily to a very high standard. Breakfast was buffet style, with plenty of food on offer, fruit juices, fruit, cereals, cold meat, cheese, bread/rolls/croissants, fried eggs, sausages, bacon and scrambled eggs. Coffee machine and various teas so something for everyone, breakfast staff worked very hard during the 3 mornings when ourselves and other teams arrived at the same time. We sat outside which was really nice in the garden area. The hotel has luvly comfy seats and seating areas to relax in, also nice pictures on the walls. Reception staff were very helpful ordering us taxis to go to our games. A couple of evenings we njoyed drinks in the bar area, again the staff were friendly and chatty. We stayed an extra 3 days, just to see the area and visit museums, shops etc. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will return next year. :) :)

The breakfast was not included in the order. I went to the hotel and asked the waiter. They said that they included breakfast, so if you want to consult anything, you should go to the store or call and ask.

Our fourth stay at the Duisburg Ibis. Convenient location, friendly staff, simple but adequate room and clean facilities. Tram and train station very close, also a lot of stores, restaurants and small food vendors near the hotel

There was 8 nights for work, the room was clean, there was TV, free Wi-Fi, just enter every time and you just have to accept the terms. The bathroom is a little small, but it is enough, unfortunately it comes smell from the pipes. The room lacks a terrace (but this hotel does not provide it) and a refrigerator (this is an important lack), but has a air conditioner. The service is very good, reception from 6.00 to 10.00, but somebody stays inside, even in the holidays. Large parking on the back, and I have to say that it is easily filled, this hotel is very frequent, and has three floors of rooms. I am a little disappointed about the prices, because from about 66 Euros per night with breakfast not included I think it's a little bit, but here we are in Germany and perhaps this is the standard. Breakfast requires a surppreciation of 8,50, and it is too much. The buffet is quite large, but not at the level of other hotels. It's all automated, there is a coffee/cappuccino machine and it's a self-service. Nominally breakfast starts at 6.30, but even if you arrive before you find everything ready. In fact, there is one person who carries the food and I already believe it at 6.00. The defect of this hotel is that there is a bar missing, where they might be able to make you coffee or cappuccino at the moment. However, this may be the standard in Germany, here we are not in Italy, but also in the Czech Republic or Poland where I have seen better breakfast services. Another major lack of this hotel is the absence of a Laundry Service, if you stop for a week or more you need to fit your clothes to go 400 metres where there is a jet washing machine. At the end this hotel is not the top, but it is not even bad.

We`ve booked a room for 3 but it wasn`t ready, so we were put in 2 adjusted rooms, which was great. Had the best sleep in there. Very friendly staff, breakfast was absolutly beatiful as well. Definetely going back, if we are on the way and need a sleep in between journeys

Also die Dusche als ich die gesehen habe dachte ich mir, ok das wird mein stammhotel, nur leider 1 punktabzug für den überhaupt nicht passenden duschkopf, erstens zu schwach und zweitens zu nah an der Ecke, das war so richtig enttäuschend, nichts destotrotz würde ich da wieder buchen, hoffe nur das der Geschäftsmann mal sich überlegt diese Kleinigkeit zu verbessern für die Perfektion. Ausserdem ist der Boden die aller beste Wahl die man haben konnte, bei den anderen hat man immer ein Ekel bekommen, bei dem habe ich mich getraut barfuss zu laufen Danke
