We stayed 3 nights. The place is great, some stilt houses on a bend in the river that leads to the natural park. The decoration, the establishment, the accommodation....everything is 10 out of 10....but due to covid, neither the restaurant, nor the pool bar, nor the gym, nor the spa are working. The workers are of 2 types: the professionals who want to build the business and care about your well-being (morning receptionist, a chubby waiter and a breakfast waitress and a maintenance assistant) and then the workers who spend all day on the cell phone without doing anything (Pool caretaker). It's a shame because this management makes it become a vicious circle. Those workers, instead of being in the hammock playing with their cell phones, could tend the bar and make the guest stay for dinner instead of going to Kampot. I highlight the free kayak service and the boat service to reach the park's rapids. A horrible detail was that the first night after a horrible trip we arrived at the pool and when we asked the lazy guy in the hammock for towels he gave us used towels. In fact, it was the only place in all of Cambodia (we stayed in 5 hotels) that did not give us a welcome drink or show us or give us information about the hotel services. Very disconcerting.
