I can hardly remember to a hotel which met my holiday expectations in a better way than the Valamar Carolina. It is located in a beautiful, green and silent part of the Rab island called Suha Punta next to a nice beach. Rooms are spacious & very comfortable and each has a sea view. Hotel is equipped with a fitness, spa center two infinite pools and several bars and restaurants. Food served within a halfboard was a story itself… breakfasts so as dinners were small culinary celebrations with variety of top quality dishes offered. Despite several months have passed since our returned home, the Valamar Carolina has remained in our memories as a perfect place for a lovely holiday.

Das Hotel liegt in einer ruhigen, etwas abgelegenen schönen Bucht und ist gut ausgestattet. Schöne Zimmer. Das Check In war perfekt. Das Frühstück recht gut ( buffet ) und reichhaltig. Das Abendessen ist nun mal Buffet aber jeder findet was ihm passt. Nur die Bedienung beim Abendessen könnte besser organisiert sein. Lange Wartezeiten. Ansonsten war der Aufenthalt schön und erholsam. Nur aufpassen. Ein Zimmer die mit Seaside gebucht wird, bedeutet nur dass es richtig Meer zeigt aber nicht unbedingt Meersicht hat. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Sicht auf den Parkplatz und Abfallconatainer. Meer sah man nur ein wenig durch die Bäume.Die sehenswerte Stadt Rab ist mit dem Auto schnell zu erreichen.

Das Hotel war klasse nur bin Ich enttäuscht da ich davon ausging das wie bei ******* angepriesen es sich um ein Erwachsenen Hotel handelt, leider war das nicht der Fall ich hoffe das ******* hier seine Angebote anpasst und mir eine Entschädigung anbietet. Laut Hotelpersonal ist das Hotel seit 2 Jahren kein Erwachsenen only Hotel . Also bitte bei Buchungen aufpassen.
Sonst war alles klasse und gut

Io e mio marito siamo clienti dell' hotel Carolina da parecchio tempo e, probabilmente, continueremo ad esserlo. Sicuramente è una struttura da favola, peccato che la Valamar non ne sia sufficientemente consapevole. Mi riferisco a quanto abbiamo constatato negli ultimi anni, soprattutto in seguito ai lavori di ristrutturazione del 2019. Qualsiasi opera d'arte merita attenzione perché il tempo, inevitabilmente, segna ogni realtà. Quanto sopra sembra non sfiorare minimamente il personale del "Carolina". Eccezion fatta per la qualità della cucina (rimane un' eccellenza per i palati più raffinati) i servizi della struttura sono alquanto trascurati: porte, vetri e finestre sono stati puliti (forse) durante il restauro del 2019; il pavimento della sala da pranzo probabilmente viene passato a fine stagione... I lettini da spiaggia richiederebbero un minimo di manutenzione. Di contro, quotidianamente, ci sono degli addetti alla spiaggia che, a campione, passano per annotare i nominativi degli ospiti che fruiscono dei lettini (5 E/die). La cifra di tale servizio è un prezzo "politico", ma non viene nominata al momento della prenotazione. Non sono un giurista mai mi risulta che per trasparenza andrebbe quantomeno citata questa spesa aggiuntiva e, soprattutto, non affidata alla casualità/fortuna. Inoltre le aree esterne all' albergo andrebbero più curate, non solo per l'igiene (mozziconi, carte ecc.) ma anche per il parcheggio. La sbarra sembra una realtà virtuale. L' unica certezza al Carolina è "tutto è business" ...

Nice place, delicious food, great rooms, nice view, fantastic vacation. Staff were also helpful. Good location of the hotel, close to the city. Only one small disadvantage: no drinks included at dinner.

The hotel has nice location at the coast with several entrances into the sea. The hotel and its amenities are in good condition like new. There is half-board available and the breakfast and dinner buffet has amazing selection of food. Even a choose person won’t complain. For lunch is another hotel restaurant available. We tried it and it was ok, same prices like in bistro/restaurants in this area. Cleanliness of the hotel and rooms are spot on. Staff was very professional, friendly and helpful. Many thanks specially to duty manager, who acknowledged and settled my complaint about the noise in our room (147 - don’t take this one). Also, I’d like to mention the caretaker Goran and his friendly personality. He always helped us with our SAP and gave us piece of advice about things to do around the hotel. I can recommend this hotel to anyone who’s searching for a calm holiday. I’d personally come back again.

Tutto perfetto,staff molto cordiale e preparati. Le piscine molto pulite. Ristorante bellissimo con il cibo di qualità. La camera moderna con tutti i confort,unico neo e che non c’erano canali italiani su la tv. Sicuramente torneremo in questo albergo il prossimo anno

Half board is fantastic, the hotel has various and very good quality food, even for people following special gluten-free and dairy-free diet. Villas are very quiet, comfortable and the private pool is a huge added value. Hotel staff are checking the water quality every day. Small but well equipped gym, trainer and group classes are included in the price. The whole staff is very nice, everyone speaks english. Valamar is a real dog-friendly place! Our doggy got treats and a toy as a present. Pets can enter the restaurant’s terrace, swim in the ocean and enter the sunlounge area as well.

We‘ve stayed here the 4th time already. Normaly we are not the ‚type‘ of people, who always drive to the same destination, but this place here is special. You have everything! Absolutely delicious food, clean rooms wirh cozy beds and you can go directly swimming into the sea. The staff is friendly and attentive. Last year we had a few things we thought, were a little bit disturbing (loud music at the pool). They took our feedback and this year, all these ‚problems‘ were solved. We always raved about this place at home, so this year our friends also came with us. We will come the next years again!
