Holiday Inn Express & Suites Kanab

Everything ok except all the face towels were very dirty.

Wow, this place is so sub-par, I can't believe IHG hasn't done something about it. Checked in for a two night stay, went to our room, only to find the keys didn't work. Schlepped our stuff back down to the desk, only to find desk abandoned and a sign stating staff had to "step away for a moment". A moment was 30 minutes. Now there's a line of people with the same issue- keys didn't work. Staff suggested that we had placed the key near something to de-program it... keys were in our hands for the elevator ride upstairs. Room was pathetic- outdated, mold in the bathroom, loose tiles on floor, missing grout. Asked to change rooms and were told there was nothing else available. Left the next morning for planned activities in the area. Returned that evening, only to find that neither key worked (again). Back down to desk for another 30 minute wait while they reprogrammed keys (and again, we weren't the only ones) and were told that we likely had deprogrammed the key ourselves. Finally got back in our room, only to find it had not been cleaned/ serviced while we were out. So, back down to the desk to get clean towels and coffee for the next morning. Seriously, we would have had a better time camping. Do yourself a huge favor and stay elsewhere!

The entire hotel needs updated bedrooms.

Very Comfortable bed and clean room. Hotel is a little outdated and most definitely needs a remodel, but the staff was wonderful and made our stay worthwhile and comfortable. Breakfast was hot and fresh and had a pretty good variety of breakfast foods. The pancake machine was a nice touch and coffee/tea/hot chocolate/oatmeal was available 24 hours. Very centrally located in beautiful Kanab with many restaurants nearby and a grocery store just across the street and gas station next door. Will definitely stay here again when in Kanab.

This was the best stay and the most favorite part of our trip! The staff was very friendly and helpful with everything we needed and also the breakfast was really good! It’s close walking distance to some great restaurants and also some fun places to shop!

The front desk was excellent. Management super helpful. Beds where clean and warm. The maintenance man was very nice. He was cleaning the pool when I was In the hot tub. Very nice gentleman. Evan was his name. I hope to go to Kanab again and visit. Thank you Holiday Inn Kanab
