Needs updating

Great place to stop. Extremely friendly staff and check-in and housekeeping. Locked out of my room at four in the morning. Made a phone call for the sign at the desk in five minutes. They were here opening up my door. Breakfast was OK. It was clean crowded need a little re-organization but it was good. Everything was there. Check out was easy. It was comfortable. Town seemed dead. Everything within 1 mile of hotel. Cute town go to the steakhouse.

Kanab has good standards and they are always friendly

I actually give this hotel 0 stars. I am not one to write negative reviews, in fact this may only be my second negative review ever. This hotel warrants it. I saw a lot of positive reviews so moved forward on booking...BIG MISTAKE. Hotel is very outdated and in need of repairs, smells awful, mold in our tub, worn out furniture and no HOT WATER. Breakfast was cold and not very good with the room being uninviting with boxes stored around the area. The pool and hot tub were freezing cold and very dirty/moldy. (It was early in the season but the other hotels in the area seemed to have pools up and running just fine from what we saw.) The front desk clerk didn't have any "authority" to help us with the issues and did not have a professional appearance. We had it booked for 3 nights, we gave it a chance on the first night but after the terrible food opted to leave. We were instructed to contact the manager for a refund for the last two nights. Modi, the manager, was very difficult to get a hold of and once I did he just argued with me. He said he would talk to the front desk lady and have her call me back. I still haven't heard anything and do not have a refund. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY, you will be sorry.

Awlful! Choose another place. No hot water, beds super hard, old rickety floors, outdated. I wouldn't stay there again ever. So, absolutely disappointing. It was cheap but, in my opinion not even worth cheap. All we needed was somewhere to sleep and shower and that was a let down!

Like the layout of the room. Lots of mirrors. Sink and toilet were in separate rooms which is great. Main complaint is that it was poorly cleaned. All rooms were dirty and a previous visitor’s food was left in the cupboard. One towel was as tattered and needed to be replaced. Great to have little fridge and microwave.

I'd gotten used to motels where the door leads straight into the room. This was different; to get to the room, we went through a lobby and down the hall. That was actually nice because they have rolling carts, so I put all our bags on a cart and rolled it to the room in one efficient trip. The room was nice and clean and we enjoyed eating at the little table.
