Words cannot describe how great this hotel is. The rooms are spacious and clean, the downstairs common area is beautiful, and the food available is stunning. But nothing even comes close to the hosts. They are such genuine and lovely people, easy to chat to and proud of what they have. My first night I was somewhat anxious but the host was so warm and welcoming, leading to us having some lovely conversations over a nice glass of beer. Even after I had forgotten to return my key after checkout, the host offered me to drive me back to the station in order to get the train. This didnt feel like typical service, it felt like pure genuine kindness and pride for a lovely business.
If you're in Kanazawa you'd be doing yourself a disservice by not going here. Even if you're not staying, swing by for lunch or one of their extensive range of teas.

The accommodation was beautiful, and the scent of rice straw from the tatami filled the room. The staff were lovely and very helpful; they assisted us in booking our bus and train tickets and served us a delicious traditional breakfast. On check-out day, they even walked us to the door to say goodbye. It was truly a wonderful experience. We couldn't be happier with our stay, 10/10.

The owner was very friendly and spoke to me when I was leaving or departing, which made me feel very comfortable!
The facilities were good, except for the fact that the water dispenser kept running empty!
There's a waterway nearby, so it might not be suitable for people who are sensitive to noise or have nervous problems sleeping!
I was able to sleep without any problems, so I was very satisfied!
