There are many restaurants nearby and you can walk to famous attractions. The hotel is 2 bus stops away from the JR station. The journey takes about 10 minutes and costs $210 per trip.

Check in and out was automated, however stayed for six nights had no room service, that was the only downside. The whole room has a fully equipped kitchen and washer.

It was a nice stay for one night. It’s a new hotel. The reception staff in the lobby were very polite and helpful. They called Myoryuji Temple for us to make an appointment. We called for many days but couldn’t get through.
There is a family mart downstairs, and the hotel is located in the busiest city center, next to the famous Omi market, and it only takes about 15 minutes to walk to Higashi Chaya Street.
The room was relatively large, but it took me a long time to figure out that the air conditioner needs to be controlled by an IPAD. There is no phone in the room and if you want help, you have to go out of the elevator to find the phone.
