Handicap parking was an issue. There was only 2 slots, and they stayed full. Most of the other parking slots are designated to a restaurant. That relegated hotel guests to park in a remote area of the parking lot, outside of the view of guests.

Everything about our stay at the Holiday Inn. Express was wonderful. The facility is pristine, clean and up-to-date. The breakfast was very good and the beds were comfortable. The fact that it was so close to KUMED is an incredible plus!

We stayed for two nights at the Holiday Inn Express in Kansas City on the Kansas side of the border. The location was fantastic being only a few minutes from the shopping and dining areas on the south side of Kansas City, MO. We were upgraded to a suite which was excellent. The front desk staff recommendations for BBQ were excellent! The one issue we had the whole stay was someone had used the bathroom and left it in the toilet when we arrived. That grossed us out really bad and made us feel like the place wasn’t clean. I was a bit more forgiving by giving the place a 4. My wife likely would have given a 2 or 3. Other than this, we had a great stay.
