Do not check in this hotel！！！The service was almost non-existent and the attitude of handling problems was very indifferent, which wasted a lot of my time. You can see that the hotel management training was very bad, and the front desk was always eager to hang up on me. If you want to have a bad travel experience, book this hotel!

We have stayed at many Holiday Inn Expresses all over the US, this is the most disappointing. The room (king bed) was smaller than any other one we’ve been in, the bathroom was older and smaller than normal. The bathroom was also not very clean, there was a piece of plastic left on the floor from a previous guest so the bathroom had not been swept, the grout was black with dirt. Although the website pictured an upholstered chair in the corner of the room, there was non (see picture). When I asked this morning why we didn’t have a chair in our room I was told “not all our rooms have them”. The breakfast was pretty basic for a Holiday Inn Express and the turkey patties were cold. We actually travel through the Kansas City area quite frequently, but we won’t be going back to this property.

Customer service was awful. They charged me an extra $185.00 bc they said I got refunded half my money due to the hotel having BEDBUGS!! Needless to say I never received the refund and I was charged this extra money while being accompanied by (varments) bugs. I would not recommend my worst enemy to stay at this place. Truth!!

Convenient and great coffee
We enjoyed staying here so much that we stayed here again on our return trip through Liberty. Easy access from I-35 with lots of shopping and restaurants nearby. They also have the best coffee I have ever had at a hotel!

I didn’t like being on the first floor as we had very noisy neighbors above us and there were diesels trucks parked right next to our window.
The neighbors walked very heavily within their room.
The diesel trucks/vehicles started up very early in the morning and ran for a long time before departing their parking spaces.
So overall noise was louder than we would have liked.

I can't believe that these places charge an ARENA fee to stay there!! Kansas makes enough money from their sports events, stadiums, restaurants , businesses and motels make plenty of money without gauging people just passing through. Let the totally overpaid players, and the people who make lots of money from sports events pay. We just wanted to get some sleep and a shower after traveling a long distance. The rooms were nice but, there were a bunch of guests (there for some kind of dance competition for young girls) who were letting their doors slam at 5:00am.
