I inadvertently booked your property for March 22nd thru ******* (i could not get a room through Bonvoy) last night at 10:30 pm.
I have stayed there several times before.
I called ******* to change the date to Friday the 24th at 10:40 - they said they could not get in touch with the hotel.
I called the hotel at 11:15, after i got off call with *******. I talked to front desk, told them to cancel my reservation. They said they would ask about rebooking with a mgr - there were none available.
I let ******* know i canceled. They said they were investigating and would advise
Today i received word from ******* that the hotel would not grant a refund.
So now i’m out $310
Unbelievable
