Staff was friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and afforded me a good sleep each night. I also enjoyed the breakfast each morning which had great variety and was always something to look forward to. The hotel is in a great location. I would stay there again.

The valet service was exceptional, especially Rocco’s service! He was extremely helpful to us and so very friendly! It’s like we already bonded in 5 minutes! The hotel is really well located in the heart of everything, you really could get by without a car because the Streetcar is just around the corner. A great Bonvoy value with the Courtyard and the Residence Inn!

I stayed at this hotel on business and it was such a great trip! I really appreciate that the rooms have a full kitchen so I’m able to go grocery shopping and cook for myself during the week instead of spending a ton of money at restaurants. In particular, Rocco provided excellent service helping me with valet parking. Overall I have had a great experience during my trip!

We stayed here because I had points to use up with Marriott Bonvoy. I think if we had looked a bit more carefully at this venue, we would have stayed at the hotel recommended by the wedding couple. The Marriott Residence Hotel was clean, being downtown, subject to loud Friday and Saturday night traffic noise but nothing one would not expect being downtown. It’s just that it had nothing impressive as did so many other hotels in the area. Austere is the word for this hotel. Staff was very efficient and friendly but it didn’t make up for the lack of character or charm, which could be found at Hotel Kansas City, or the magnificent venue around here corner at Lowe’s Hotel where we had breakfast. Our stay was brief and for a family wedding so no big deal. But if you are looking for more character and style, try elsewhere.
