Ti induce proprio a rilassarti.

Grazie Kura Kura

We spent part of our honeymoon at the Kura Kura resort. I love the sea, so for me it was truly finding myself in paradise. In any case it is not a place for everyone, it is an immersion in nature with everything that can result from it (a few insects here and there and a little attention to the corals). In any case, as soon as you arrive on site you will be offered the opportunity to use the masks and shoes made available to the facility. The rooms are well set up, the only flaw is that upon entering the resort you are offered two water bottles so you can use the water present in the bottles in the rooms, a whole explanation is given about the environment and that plastic is not used on the island, then you enter the bathroom and there are all the amenities (combs, toothbrushes, etc.) wrapped in plastic, in the past I have also seen "ecological" toothbrushes, it would have been very pleasant to find them in this resort too. Our room did not have slippers and bathrobes, only the classic towels are provided. The staff is WONDERFUL, they are mainly young people between 20 and 30 years old, natives of Indonesia, they always smile and are always cheerful, they make the place even more magical. We arrive at the sore point relating to excursions. It is clear that the management's objective is to offer the greatest number of excursions possible, and they are particularly heavy in insistently proposing them... We did three, the first was included in the honeymoon and consisted of go slightly offshore and snorkel, the second time, we were asked to do the first scuba dive of our lives, the director made us do a test dive in the pool and then made us dive in the coral reef. The dive lasted about 20 minutes compared to the agreed 30, and the cost was double what you could pay in Italy by doing a dive from a boat. However it was a wonderful experience. The third and final excursion on the last day was very negative. In the past I have also done 20-day sailings on a motorized boat, I'm not a sailor, but I notice whether the situation is appropriate to the context or not. The excursion consisted of reaching an uninhabited islet about 1 hour away by navigation and spending the day there. From afar I noticed that there was a bit of wind and the sea was rough but I wanted to trust, making a huge mistake. As soon as we leave the port we notice that, being in the ocean, even with a little wind, a wooden boat with a 20hp engine is completely unsuitable for dealing with such a situation! Especially in the afternoon, the sea became more rough and my wife was about to have a panic attack. It would have been enough to use one of the cabin boats available with larger engines. The feeling we had was very bad, it felt like

Torneremo molto volentieri!

Amazing! Kura Kura is a beautiful island resort and you will be transported to a different world. It's a perfect place to disconnect from tech and enjoy a natural detox. The accommodations are spacious and well furnished. The restaurant serves delicious Italian and local cuisine and the bar is well stocked. The place has great diving and snorkeling sites and the resort has in house dive center to take you out on fun excursions. Sit under a canopy of coconut trees with a book in your hand and enjoy a peaceful sunset with the evening breeze brushing your hair. You can also enjoy paddle-boarding in the lagoon. This is a really fun activity to learn and enjoy with your spouse or family. The hospitality is top notch and the staff are very friendly. The manager Sandro personally came to receive us and see us off at the harbour - nothing quite like a personal touch! We greatly cherish the time spent here, thank you Kura Kura :)

We stayed in this splendid resort in October with my daughter, my sister and some friends, we stayed in a Family pool Villa and what can I say? A daydream. From the moment you arrive you feel pampered by the always present and smiling staff, the resort is truly beautiful, elegant but welcoming, perfectly maintained and clean. Excursions depart every day to snorkel and see the surrounding islands (don't miss Krakal where there are cottages where you can even spend the night alone to fully enjoy the magic of the uncontaminated island). They even provided us with shoes to walk in the lagoon, mask and snorkel (also for my daughter... and even beach toys for her). The island is a true oasis of peace, nature envelops you and the crystal clear sea allows you to fully enjoy the wonders of the seabed, they have various eco-sustainability projects and you can really feel the integration of the resort into the natural habitat. Finally, for everything it offers and for the level of the place, in my opinion, the quality/price ratio is excellent!

The value for money is terrible. The rooms feel like 1970, worn out and unclean. The food is beyond boring and uncreative. Frozen seafood on an island... impossible. The service was really nice, but untrained. You have to pay extra for WiFi. Drinks and food are about ten times more expensive than in Karimunjava, about 5 kilometres away. The diving instructor is unbelievably cheeky. We were backpacking in Java for two weeks and only when I arrived at Kura Kura Resort did I get diarrhoea... after we complained, they gave us a room upgrade and dinner. Unfortunately it was still frozen seafood. The rooms were ok... Luckily we were only there for three days.

The experience in Kura kura resort was wonderful in every aspect: - the island itself is a little paradise with a blue lagoon and inserted in a natural park with a great biodiversity (birds, fishes, plants) - the staff is very professional, kind and helpful - even though the island is little there are plenty of activities (snorkeling, stand up paddle, Indonesian boat paddle, scuba diving, excursions, spa... And sun bathing of course) - the food was delicious with a great variety of dishes for every meal (both Indonesian and Italian cuisine) The only complaints consist in the meals timing (sometimes way too long) and in the fact that there's no medical personnel in the island.
