It locates near the metro but its a bit disappointed that you would have to carry your big suitcase on your own before entering the hotel via stairs. :) The staff is very friendly. The breakfast buffet is enough good for me.

Perfekte Lage für einen City Trip nach Karlsruhe Die Haupteinkaufsstraße, Einkaufszentrum, Theater, Zoo oder Kongresszentrum direkt zu Fuß erreichbar. U-Bahn direkt vor der Tür, und auch eine große Tiefgarage zu moderaten Preisen stehen zur Verfügung. Frühstücks Buffet ist sehr vielfältig. Die neu renovierten Zimmer erfüllen einen zeitgemäßen Standard. Was mich allerdings inzwischen abschreckt, sind die sehr stark gestiegenen Übernachtungspreise (rd. 200 EUR/Nacht/Zimmer), welche für den Standard und den Serviceleistungen meiner Einschätzung nach nicht gerechtfertigt sind. In Karlsruhe gibt es inzwischen einige interessante Neueröffnungen, welche bei gleichem Standard und auch verkehrsgünstiger Lage, deutlich günstigerer Preise anbieten. Insofern sage ich nach vielen schönen Jahren „good bye“ zum Novotel und werde künftig das Angebot anderer Hotelanbieter nutzen.

This Novotel has a great location in central Karlsruhe with easy access to public transport. The facilities were very modern and in good shape. Although, as I would guess, this is primarily a business hotel, it was great for our family. We were given two adjoining rooms with a connecting door, which was just great.
