Holiday Inn Express Kenedy

Very clean , quiet. The staff was very nice and attentive with smiles in their faces. They made you feel welcomed.

One of our rooms, the keypad didn't work so they had to change our room to another.

Breakfast was ok just been sitting on the line a long time. Maintenance in room was poor, door securing device broken, tub shower rusty spots in bottom and bathroom door had problems. Really needs remodeling.

This has been the worst IHG hotel I have stayed at. I stayed July 2023. 1. The first room they checked me into smelled horrible… it smelled like really bad mildew. So I went to the front desk and they luckily had one more room and it was next door. Unfortunately it also smelled like mildew but definitely not as bad. 2. Both rooms had damage and scratches to all the cabinets. Broken handle on one and the mirror closet door will not stay shut. The cleaning service just puts a room trash can in front of it to keep it closed. 3. Both rooms I found had broken desk chairs, which is no bueno cause I often work on my computer in the mornings and evenings. 4.. The 2nd room the toilet paper holder was broken. I guess I should just be thankful I had toilet paper. 5. The shower head looks like it has not been cleaned in ages. Also the first night after a long day of work I was ready for a shower and I took a freezing shower. Maybe because it’s 1000 degrees here they thought they could by with freezing showers. 6. Breakfast: the juice dispenser was broken. For coffee they only had one option. I know that sounds picky but all the other IHG offer regular and decaf. I love coffee but recently had to give up caffeine, so I switched to decaf. This may be also picky but they offer toast that will not fit all the way in the toaster. I just went to the gas station instead. Will never stay here again.

I was very disappointed with the condition of this property. It has not been taken care of and needs a complete renovation. This is not s good representation of the Holiday inn brand. Unfortunately I would never stay here again .

I specifically chose this facility because I needed a walk-in shower. I selected one as available during the reservation process. When I arrived at the hotel, we were given a tub - still an accessible room, but not what I needed. The front desk said they had no available "shower" rooms. Very frustrating indeed.

TV did not work properly. Toilet paper holder broken. Only one towel in bathe room. Bath tub had chips in it. Lock on door did not work. Floors in hall way were very dirty. Morning breakfast was bad. Juice station was not working.

Great, quick stay. Clean hotel and great and helpful staff.
