The hotel room is spacious but slightly outdated. Upon entering the room, there was a surprise birthday treat, which was very lovely. The staff provided excellent service!

Excellent location with nice restaurants close by

The staff are all very friendly and helpful from driver to receptionist to cleaning staff. We have a pleasant stay in this hotel. The pick up service to and from JR station as well as the snow house are a plus for us. Furthermore, the breakfast variety as well as freshness of ingredients are highly appreciated. They are nice enough to give me a ride after my checkout for picking my luggages back . Overall speaking , I will recommend to others of this hotel .

We had a fantastic stay at hotel. The hotel serve us well and taken great care of our old parents. The rooms are a bit dated but the staff, the driver and cafe staff service made it all up. The hotel is located to the old town area and with plenty of good restaurants near by. The hotel car service takes you to train station for free. This save us a lot of time and money as we are travelling with two old people.

The room is old, but well maintained, and the surrounding environment is also very good. It is very close to the train station, but there will be traffic jams. The hotel has a pick-up service from the train station, but you need to call the hotel to ask them to pick you up. The phone number for contacting the hotel in the Ctrip hotel order is wrong, and no one answered the call. Later, I contacted customer service to help me get the hotel to pick me up. I waited for more than an hour. Ctrip should confirm whether the information is correct, especially for this kind of need to contact the hotel. There are also problems in the communication between the hotel and Ctrip. I paid in advance, and when I checked out, the hotel still gave me a bill to pay. Fortunately, I told them that there was no problem after confirmation, otherwise it would take time to communicate again. I hope that Ctrip’s booking information will be correct in the future and not add unnecessary trouble.

Quiet, clean, large room. The room is a bit old but well maintained

There is nothing to say about the hotel service. If you call the hotel in advance, you can arrange a shuttle bus. Although it is not close to the ski resort, the room is large and comfortable. My favorite thing is to go to the big bath and take a bath after I come back every day. Clean and rich in toiletries. Breakfast is optional every day, Japanese breakfast is recommended. The only complaint I made was because the hair dryer in the bathroom suddenly caught fire after sparks came out while using it. I called the front desk immediately and the waiter quickly came to replace it and apologized constantly. It may be caused by aging of the wires caused by no one using it for a long time. Old Karuizawa is not a big place, so living here is very convenient for shopping and skiing.

The hotel was small, but clean and friendly. In particular, the restaurant and sauna were luxurious and nice, and the free ride to the ski resort was very convenient.

The location is very good. Ginza Street is a 5-minute walk away. There is a bus stop right in front of the hotel that can take you to Tombonoyu Onsen. The tone, manner, and friendliness of the rooms are very classy. It's a place I want to come back to

The hotel is very old, but the location is very good and convenient for travel. The hotel's breakfast is OK, but the hot spring pool is actually a small bathing pool, there is no hot spring smell at all, even the Japanese soak first and then take a shower.

The hotel staff are always smiling, helpful and provide attentive service.
