The room is very different from the picture. Room condition is dirty and old(the worst condition I stayed in Zanzibar) The worst thing was the attitude of reception staffs and the boss. They are too rude and disrespectful and unpleasant. Because the room is very different from the picture, I requested refund, the boss responded in rude manner and no refund. The room is rusty and dirty. The drain hole in bathroom is clogged with hair. And swimming is impossible because ebb tide. It was the worst hotel I have ever stayed. Thank you for no refund and giving me an opportunity to share my worst experience ever with whom considering Diamonds Mapenzi. I recommend you never make a reservation. Please do go other hotel.

Hôtel très propre avec un personnel toujours souriant et très serviable. Nous avons voyagé avec nos 2 enfants de 9 et 13 ans. Animation en journée (aquagym, volley…) et également le soir avec des repas à thème, spectacle, soirée dansante. Buffet varié et nourriture plutôt bonne .

Een prachtig, ruim opgezet resort. Het ligt op hoogte dus veel trappen. Het uitvoerende personeel is super vriendelijk en werken kei hard, van tuinmannen, beveiliging tot schoonmaaksters, van animatieteam tot barpersoneel en allemaal dol op kinderen! Een groot compliment voor hun! Zij doen er alles aan op het helemaal tip top te maken. Het eten is goed, leuke variatie qua thema avonden (ook aan het strand en zwembad) waar veel aandacht wordt besteed aan lunch en diner op deze plekken. Er zijn meer dan voldoende ligbedden aan het zwembad en strand, zonder handoekje te hoeven leggen wat erg fijn is! De zee loopt bij eb erg ver terug, waardoor je een mooie wandeling kunt maken. Let wel op voor de 'tourgids' die mee lopen, tegen betaling achteraf.

Wij hebben onze eer een bloemetje gebracht voor onze goede vriend (rip)wij zijn lopend langs het strand vanaf hotel sultands Beach Resort naar resort Diamonds mapenzi gelopen!wij hebben gewacht tot het eb is ....flinke stappen wel 6 km gelopen!het was de moeite waard!

Mieliśmy przyjemność gościć w Mapenzi Beatch przez 11 dni . Jesteśmy zachwyceni pobytem . Willa Beatch front w której mieszkaliśmy bardzo ładna i przestronna, no i oczywiście cudowny widok na plażę i ocean 👍 Wspaniali ludzie pracujący w hotelu od pań sprzątających , ogrodników, kelnerów czy pracowników recepcji. Szczególne podziękowania dla Pana Waziri , który bardzo nam pomagał. Wspaniały człowiek, bardzo pomocny i uczynny . Hotel bardzo przytulny, przepięknie położony, z malowniczym ogrodem. Pyszne i różnorodne jedzenie a w szczególności romantyczne kolację na plaży przy muzyce. Polecamy to miejsce, kiedyś wrócimy do Was ❤️

What a place, So Beautiful. You do need to be mobile as there are lots of steps. We had an amazing time there everything was just perfect. The food was amazing. Everything and everywhere was so clean. Staff lovely could not do enough for you. We would definitely return here.

This hotel is a disaster. The beach has a huge tidal reach and it's coral out there. The usable time when the tide is in is a couple of hours a day. Hawkers patrol the beach, so expect constant harassment. The hotel service is terrible, as is the food. The pool and table tennis has broken equipment. Hotel rooms don't get cleaned properly, and they'll charge $10 a day per person tax when you check out.

Leider ist das Essen sehr sehr schlecht. Wenig Auswahl und Geschmack sind an der Tagesordnung. Getränke beim Essen sind nicht besonders kühl. Am Anfang des Urlaubes wurde uns ein Zimmer der schlechtesten Kategorie zugewiesen, was wir aber nicht gebucht haben. Nach Tagen und vielen Beschwerden über nicht funktionierende Duschen, stinkenden Abfluss und sehr schlechten W-LAN bekamen wir dann doch noch unser gebuchtes Zimmer. Der Strand und die Lage des Hotels is top, aber der Rest leider nicht. Hotel ist nicht zu empfehlen. Woher die Sterne stammen, ist mir ein Rätsel!!!!
