Great Location as the hotel is just a few mins walk outside the airport , especially after a late night flight. No need to go through all the hassle of waiting for taxis. Rooms were excellent, very clean, spacious and great amenities, you can also access youtube and other channels through the hotel TV. The breakfast in the morning was delicious, they provided a great variety of dishes. Everything was great, but the price was a bit too high considering and comparing other hotels in Nepal. The room i booked cost a total of around 110usd per night and i think i can book a 5 star hotel with way better facilities and services with the same amount of money. Other than that, the hotel was great, the biggest plus is the location. Will definitely book again but a cheaper room.

Jhapad,Rohit, Bikash, Nisto they are very kind and professional. They always checked if the food was okay and asked if he needed anything. Thank you for your care. Thanks to them, I was able to have a comfortable meal. I totally recommend the hotel breakfast restaurant.

The hotel is very close to the Great Stupa, a few minutes walk. The environment is very good, and the restaurant downstairs is very good. The waiters are very friendly, but the English is too complicated to communicate. Helping to call a taxi usually requires a quick reply and a good attitude. The price/performance ratio is still very high, and the sleep is very solid.

I have stayed several times at this wonderful hotel. It is a hidden gem: close enough to the stupa to enjoy but not so close that you get the noise. The staff is friendly and efficient, the breakfast good and the beautiful garden a oasis of calm. My favorite hotel in Kathmandu

The puri or chapati and curry quickly became our favorites, perfectly complemented by the aromatic masala tea and the flavorful masala omelette – a true culinary delight! I am on the tail end of an 18-night stay at the Lakhey Hotel in Kathmandu, and I can honestly say that it has been WONDERFUL. I've gotten to know many of the staff, and they all are warm, friendly, and gracious. The hotel has only been open for a couple of months, and it is spotlessly clean, kept that way in part by one of the hardest working housekeepers, Sumitra, that I have ever seen. The staff head, Rajesh, and his assistants, Raj Kumar and Ram, who also multitask with cooking, greet me every morning with a warm welcoming. They all will make you feel like you are part of their family. The hotel is located in a quiet neighborhood, off a busy street, and conveniently located near the touristy Thamel area. The rooms are spotlessly clean, modern, rather upscale, but very economical. The hotel does not have a restaurant but provides a GREAT breakfast that is way beyond what they call a ”continental breakfast” that one would get in America. Freshly cooked to each guest, it includes eggs however you like them (I loved the omelet!), freshly cut fruit, veggies, potatoes, toast with butter & jam, juice, & coffee or tea. And there is a restaurant right next door for other meals. I had never stayed at the Lakhey Hotel before, but I can highly recommend it, and I will surely return in the future. My 6-day stay was overall good. Friendly staff with a beautiful garden. The location seems handy, near the central zoo. Around the place, there are so many nice cafes, restaurants, fruit shops. Initially, I’d like to thank Tashi for her helpful tips and welcoming warmth, which made my journey easier and more relaxing. Also, Tashi is the best sales person I’ve met innNepal, she picked up my call at late night time and made an instant arrangement for my stay. So much appreciated! Thanks Tashi. We had several conversations about cultural exchanges. Brilliant experience! Drawbacks: 1. the old Nepali apartment slightly smells, probably resulting from the rainy season. 2. The rate is a bit overpriced, but fortunately I got a free upgrade. 3. The shower facility looks a bit too old in the room, so the hot water came inconsistently with a relatively small volume. Btw, this is the only picture I took from the property＜

New Hotel with Great Roof Top View, needs to improve. Room is nice, smells new, however bed sheet is completely new , itchy , it’s like just bought and not washed , direct to the bed or been there dusty for long time. Towel is dirty white, not convenient. Water is totally disappointed, Color yellow, un-filtered and smells. Need proper filtration. Massage, all is new, bed is sounding haha , no music , no aroma for 8k local currency, 1 hour, masseuse was good. Food some are great, some are tough. View is the best for this hotel, but they open only afternoon to 10.. if you are sunrise person , this hotel is not for you. Sun set was great. Staffs are friendly, however next visit should be more thoughtful on guiding guests, where is elevator, what are facilities and hotel can offer. Breakfast was fair, price is recommendable.
