Simply classic hotel where The Beatles stayed during Hippy Era in Nepal. Love it!!

The room was average, but i like the environment ♥️

Rooms were not big, they didn't give you slippers and tooth brush and need to ask for. Staying one night in the centre of the city -yes, but for a longer stay I personally don't think is a good idea

This is my second time staying in this hotel, I like the garden here very much, and even there is a amazing museum which is worth for visiting, will choose this hotel next time again.

I stayed in a standard room, not a deluxe room, which cost 325 RMB per night. I walked past the garden of this hotel and was attracted by the beautiful garden, so I booked a room from Ctrip. I didn't expect that the room was very different from the garden. First of all, the area of ​​the standard room was only about 10 square meters, and the quality of the bedding was similar to that of domestic guesthouses, and certainly not as good as the bedding of Home Inn or Hanting.

A very interesting hotel. The old building I stayed in was a bit old, but the hotel has a very beautiful and comfortable garden, providing a quiet place to rest in the heart of the city. The hotel has a rich history, next to the National Art Museum, and there is an art house in the hotel, which has many interesting works and the artists themselves are present. The hotel restaurant looks good (I didn't try it myself), and there is also a Himalayan Java coffee. Not your ordinary hotel, a hotel with a soul!

KGH is in the center of the business district, there are many clubs nearby, it will be very noisy when sleeping at night, the attitude of the waiters is also very strange, they are very enthusiastic when you go there for the first time, but they will ignore you when you go there for the second time, but they are very enthusiastic to Europeans or people from other countries. The hotel facilities are also very old, the water quality is yellowish, not very good, I guess I will not choose to stay there again

The only dissatisfaction is that Last Minutes, staying on the same day is 20% cheaper than booking in advance. The hotel attendant did not give a reasonable explanation.

It is located in Thamel area, about 30 minutes from the airport. To enter the hotel grounds, you will pass through a gate with a gatekeeper. It may have been a coincidence, but I was disappointed that there was no refrigerator. The hotel had a restaurant, bar, massage and barber shop. There are restaurants, massages, eateries, souvenir shops and liquor stores outside the hotel. There is also a taxi waiting for you when you leave the hotel, so you can take long trips whenever you want. It's about a 15 minute walk to Durbar Square, so it's recommended to go there while enjoying the cityscape.

Stayed at KGH for 3 nights and my kids and I loved it. Service: After checking in, I found that the room next door was very noisy. The service is very good. I have stayed here many times. The rooms are different every time. It is a different experience.

The facilities are old, because it has a certain history and I have stayed there many times. The standard room I stayed in this time was unsatisfactory. I originally wanted to upgrade, but the hotel management was too old-fashioned and wouldn't let me upgrade🤣Then the security guards at the front and back doors watched people order dishes, which didn't feel good.

It's nice to have a small garden. But the room is very small, and the bedding doesn't feel clean, which is the level of an express hotel
