We had a great 4 night break, lovely clean hotel. We were in an annexe over the road and was lovely and peaceful, all staff are a real credit to the hotel, always helpful and greeted with a smile. Food was very good and although we only had it one afternoon the pizza from the wood fired pizza oven are amazing! My only criticism would be the coffee (very hit and miss but mainly miss) and also I do think quality of spirits could be better and maybe a small choice of cocktails in the all inclusive option. All in all a nice break and I would return.

Just returned from a 5 night stay at the Blue Aegean. Had a wonderful relaxing time. We stayed in room 71 which is just across the road from the main hotel with a separate pool. Room was very nice and cleaned daily. All staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was good with enough choice to vary your diet. If you’re looking to be entertained all day it’s probably not the best choice but if you’re looking to chill and relax I would definitely recommend.

We just had a fantastic stay at the Blue Aegean. Our beds were somewhat firm, just how we like them, plenty of pillows and comfort. It was clean and our standard room was very large with lots of storage, the shower was large and the balcony overlooking the pool was so big! On the back of our room we were able to see the sea about 40 meters away. We went all inclusive for not much extra money and we were spoilt for choice. There were lots of vegetarian options and plenty of meaty choices like lamb, rabbit, veal, chicken, pork, beef and fish. There were multiple beaches to visit near by and lots of lovely shops and cafés, our favourite being the 2 Friends Taverna for authentic greek food. We walked 10 minutes to a bus stop and got a bus in to Iraklion one day and did an excursion to the Knossos Palace another day. We arrived at night and were offered a free drink and a cold plate of ham, cheeses, stuffed vine leaves, a bread roll and salad. And we weren't leaving until night, a week later, but were allowed to store our luggage, eat lunch and dinner and drink for free at the restaurant, use the pool and shower room for as long as we needed. The staff were all super kind, friendly and helpful. You will not regret a stay here!

From start to finish the food, the cleanliness, the staff everything was truly amazing. Thank you all for making our holiday an amazing experience and for making us feel at home. I recommend the spaghetti and the potatoes which were delicious. Special shout out to Stefanos, Eva, and Costa who all went the extra mile for us. Can't wait to return later on this year.

Stopped in one of the apar**ents just over the road from the hotel, not an issue for getting into and out of the hotel as the road is small/not busy, however the free wifi does not reach these apar**ents. The hotel is based about 100m from a small beach with a much larger beach about 200m further and an enormous beach about 10-15 mins walk. Room very clean and spacious, shower is excellent. Food is plentiful and good choice at each sitting, however the food is not kept very warm (except dishes under the heat lamps), so it's better to eat early. Pool is clean with plenty of sunbeds, although getting sunbeds which stay in the sun as it moves over the complex can be a challenge. Staff were all friendly and drinks selection was good. Overall a good stay.

We arrived at the Blue Aegean hotel and was greeted with a warm welcome and smile checking in was made simple, we was shown to our room and was clean and fresh,we dropped our cases and headed for the bar we noticed that they don’t do half measures so we stayed for a while if you know what I mean, the restaurant was clean, plenty of choice of different foods,chief was always there making sure everything was presented well, the tables were cleaned straight away,the staff worked very hard and were polite.the bar area was were you chilled out and meet other guest,the bar staff were brilliant,there is plenty of sun beds around the pool area. The beach was a hundred yards from the hotel just down the road there is a couple of supper markets and restaurants and bars etc on the main road we visited the Island restaurant on the beach for a meal to celebrate my birthday and watched the sunset.when going out for a evening walk we stumbled on a little gem of a place called The CENTRAL BAR fantastic a**osphere live entertainment and cheep beer a lovely garden area the manager made you feel welcome danced in the road lol.we visited the bar twice, Overall we had a fantastic holiday and look forward to returning to the blue Aegean hotel in 2024

What a fabulous weeks holiday we had here, the food was really nice and plenty of choice, good for kids the pizzas was really yummy, lovely friendly staff and we met some lovely families my daughter made loads of friends and didn’t want to come home! Always plenty of sunbeds at any time of the day which was nice as i hate the sunbed battle on holiday, really lovely relaxing resort Gouves is and we will definitely return.

Our experience at Blue Aegean was really great. The highlight was the AMAZING food. All meals are freshly prepared with a range of Greek and other dishes. I like to try local cuisine, which I could every day. The kids were happy with freshly made pizza in their pizza oven. Other great things was the a**osphere, cleanliness, pool and children's play areas. The staff are also ultra friendly and helpful. There is nothing they wouldn't do to make your stay fantastic. Location was also grest being a 2 minute walk ftom the beach a the beauitiful sea. Only slight low light was the size of the room and selection of English TV channels but because the weather was so great we weren't in there very much so it was fine. Thanks for a fabulous holiday!

We returned yesterday and had such a fantastic time, we can't wait to go back. Really friendly welcome at reception on arrival and showed to our very comfy room. The pool area is lovely, very clean and spacious. We were so impressed with the food, the evening meals exceeded expectations with tasty pork, chicken, beef and lamb dishes. My daughter loved the fresh pizza and kebabs. The breakfast is the best we have had at an all inclusive. Wine, beer and local spirits were all nice. There was a happy hour for cocktails if you wanted a treat. The staff were fantastic, in particular the head chef who was happy to talk to you about all the dishes, and the barman in the evening who made mocktails for the kids and created a really nice a**osphere.
