Tylos Beach Hotel

Medium sized hotel, located in a beautiful location: directly overlooking a sandy beach, with crystal clear water, to tell the truth it is a bit isolated, with all the advantages and disadvantages of the situation. The structure is quite modern but the rooms are a bit small: if there are two of you you are relatively comfortable, but if you are three you are a bit cramped. The breakfast is passable and the cleanliness excellent. It should only be noted that the equipped beach below is not managed by the hotel, but is public: cleanliness is acceptable, but the municipality decides when to start and end the season.

The view is very beautiful! The service was not good at all and the reason was that our check in was at 14:00 in the afternoon and we went at 15:00 and we still waited 40' because at that moment they put the cleaners in and the excuse was that the cleaners are slow! The room was very nice, new and with a view of the sea, but the bad thing was that the refrigerator was not even in operation and we had to put it to freeze to put our water! Also the place was clean except for the floor which had not been swept and had dirt and hair, maybe from the previous ones and you walked down without slippers and you got dirty. Also at 8:00 you could hear the maids outside your door shouting. All of us sitting in the living room waiting to get our room in the kitchen were yelling, fighting and swearing at each other customers loudly! Also at night we went out to the balcony to sit and you couldn't stay with the smell from below. The breakfast was the poorest we've come across and because it didn't have a/c inside the cheeses were sweaty from the heat. It's not worth the money. Inside the hotel, the living room had no a/c and you couldn't sit because it smelled like food from the kitchen. How is it possible in a hotel not to have a/c inside?

This secluded corner far from the tourist frenzy of the rest of the island is a true haven of peace. The rooms have been recently renovated and are very comfortable: brand new bathroom with Italian shower, large bed, fridge and small balcony facing the sea. If you have the courage, get up early to watch the sunrise over the Turkish coasts. It's really beautiful and you will only have to open the balcony door to have a front row seat. Please note, no coffee/tea maker in the room, nor bottle of water, but that's a detail. The team is caring and warm. Breakfast is simple but sufficient: fresh fruit, cold meats, cheeses, etc.
