Falkensteiner Hotel Cristallo l 4 Star Superior

Overall, a very nice place to go skiing with family. Our 5 year old was never bored. She skied in the morning with the ski school and did activities in the kids club in the afternoon. This allowed time for me and my wife to ski and use the hotel facilities. The common areas felt premium, as did the breakfast and dinner (not lunch). However, the rooms could use an upgrade (e.g. no usb or type c ports), and not having a kettle or a coffee machine is (personally) a major mistake. I would recommend it and come back in the future.

me and family have been here twice for skiing and it’s an amazing hotel. food is very nice and there’s new options every night aswell as breakfast which is amazing. Facilities such as the lockers are amazing for ski attire and the pools and rooms are lovely. Excellent hotel

This hotel definitely does not deserve 4 stars, and not even 3 stars.. the overall experience was below expectations and below average even for a 3 star hotel. Reception and cleaning staff absolutely ignorant. Our room was not cleaned on the 2nd day at all. Even after kindly askong the cleaning lady. They dont help with luggage and waiting lines for the elevator reminded me on McDonalds. Water in the pool too cold. Rooms look like stuck in 90ties. The only thing which was above the average were the prices. They’re not gonna see us again.

This has been undoubtedly the best ski hotel i have ever been fortunate enough to stay in. The food has been outstanding, service excellent, location is superb. The kids ski school is a lesson to companies like the ESF on how kids ski schools should be run. Instructors were very good and friendly. My son had a race and won a medal. He was super happy. We are sad to be leaving

Had an excellent week. Stayed in a family room which although could have been bigger was well laid out and had a good amount of storage. Bathroom layout was also very well done with Shower and loo both in own sections and again plenty of storage. The room was spotless. Hotel is in a fab location just across from the piste and ski school meeting points. Being at the top end of the village meant there was very little traffic going by. Bootroom was excellent with a large locker per room with drying facilities etc. Swimming pools were a great addition, we used both the children's (which did get very busy at times) and the indoor / outdoor pool in the main Spa. Lovely after a full day on the mountain. Family steam room / sauna were also great. I wish I'd booked a message as the spa looked very inviting! Breakfast was excellent with anything and everything you could possibly want, from a juicer to the full cooked breakfast and everything inbetween. We only had lunch at the hotel once (the provision on mountain was excellent and very well priced so we didn't bother heading back to the hotel), it was fine but not as good as lunch / dinner. I liked the fact you were allocated a table for the week so no worries about table readiness, it was always waiting for you. The drinks at the bar were also well priced for a hotel of this rating. A glass of wine from about €6 and similar for beer from memory. Overall very happy with the experience and would definitely consider for a future ski holiday.

This hotel is just perfect in every single way. Great location an views, amazing food, great service, affordable bar, nice SPA facilities. Our family suit was superb. We’ve had a great ski holiday and will definitely consider coming back here

We enjoyed our stay. Hotel’s modern (renovated) and very big. Our room was very large, clean and it had everything it should have. Pool area is also clean, water temperature was great. Restaurant is also huge. Breakfast is amazing. Dinner is unusual but delicious. You get 3 meal options on a menu and can get that or anything else from the buffet. Lunch is a complete disaster. There’s just a few options to choose from, and 1 or 2 were edible. The staff is always helpful and kind (especially the cleaning lady). Location of the hotel is great and there’s a bunch of family activites and kids programs.

We spent 1 week in this hotel before Christmas. The room was clean and neat. There was a big garderobe as well where we had space to unpack. The beds are comfortable. The staff is very helpful and kind. The food is good as well. Its location is very good as the hotel is next to the ski slopes. We recommend this hotel.
