Die Anlage ist sehr gepflegt mit einem kleinen Pool und Bar. Auf dem ganzen Gelände stehen Webergrill für die Gäste bereit zum Benützen. Die grossen Zimmer haben einen Wohnbereich, jede Zimmer Tv, Waschmaschine (mit WM-Pulver) , Tumbler, kompl. Küche mit Mixer, Mikrowelle, Ofen. Das Studio mit zwei Schlafzimmer hatte auch zwei Badezimmer. Ausgangspunkt von diesem Hotel ist ideal da man ca. mittig wohnt vom WaimeaCanyon und NorthShore. Da wir in zwei Zimmer jeweils 2 Nächte übernachtet haben wissen wir nicht ob gereinigt wird. Tipps: beachte den Wetterbericht nicht, Tunnelbeach mitten in der Natur, grosser Strand mit teils Vulkangestein ohne Handyempfang.

The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and well equipped. Both the living room and the bedroom have sliding glass doors that look out over the beautifully landscaped garden and pools. Plenty of lounge chairs and two hammocks by the pools and overlooking the beach. Walking distance to the Coconut Marketplace with shops, restaurants and a grocery store. Well equipped fitness center. Centrally located with easy access to all parts of the island.

We decided to make a quick journey to the island of Kauai and booked a package with Hawaiian Airlines. Took their moderate priced hotel as we were spending the time exploring. The hotel is an old and the rooms are looking it but the bed was comfortable. Unfortunately the buildings are wood framed meaning the guest on the floor above us would wake us up at 3 am to walk around and open and close the patio doors Guess what? The restaurant was closed during our entire visit. The solution was the front desk suggested to go across the street or go to the other resorts next door. Finally the staff. They are bored and completely uninterested in helping guests. They are not welcoming and although not rude I felt I was bothering them. This also goes for the concierge who seemed put out when asked for assistance.

The location is great with Cocunut market just across the street with restaurants and shops. Also short drive to Lihue and costco. North Shore Pool are and grounds overall are beautiful. However the rooms are in need of some updating. Other than that a pleasant stay.

We stayed here for 3 nights. The resort was good for our needs - nice to have coffee and juice/water/cookies in the lobby. Close proximity to eating places and shops. Nice walkway along the beach with a restaurant nearby. Bed was a little soft for us as we like an extra firm bed. Washer/dryer came in handy. Room was fairly spacious and comfortable.

We had not been here for many years, and it was splendid to see that the quality and upkeep of the resort remained exceptional! The kitchen and bathrooms were well equipped, and the insuite laundry was an added bonus! Staff were friendly and helpful as when we were last here. The pool and the gym have not changed - small and really unexceptional. Of course, Hukilau Lanai restaurant on site remains a highlight. We have no hesitation to return to the resort and restaurant!

Though the room looks dated, but the comfort and size of the unit make up for it. It has a full kitchen with everything you need, plus a washer and dryer. The location to the beach front, plus an ABC Store and other restaurants and businesses in walking distance is a great bonus. We will come back again.

Excellent location and easy to find. Great view. Small shopping center next door and and easy walk to Lava Lava. The cable did not work on our stay but I don’t go to Hawaii to watch TV. Wake up early and watch the sunrise from the beach!
