This is probably the best hotel in Nagarkot. The facilities are also relatively good. The hotel has a buffet dinner, and you can also eat potatoes from Mustang, which are really delicious. The swimming pool was not used as it was too cold and a bunch of happy Nepalis enjoyed the pool very much. I didn't see the Himalayas due to the weather, but the scenery is still good. I really like this resort hotel. It totally exceeds my expectations. There is plenty of hot water and the air conditioning in the room is very warm. You can see rolling snow mountains and sunrise from the balcony of the room. The buffet breakfast and dinner are very rich, especially for dinner. I don't know if there are a few Chinese dishes because of the reception of a Chinese tourist group. Fried cabbage is delicious. The hotel also has a very spacious reading room. If you have enough time, you can live quietly for a few days, watch the sunrise and listen to the wind

The host Mohan was friendly and helpful. The room and shared bathroom were clean. This hotel is halfway to the attractions, which are far from other hotels; you can walk to the city from the hotel. It's quiet and quiet, and ideal if you've just experienced the noise of Kathmandu. Mohan also offers massages to relax. Remarks: Please take off the noisy bells and keep warm with warm sheets. This place has all the attributes of a good Boutique. Great decor, Newari architectural charm, the right amount of creature comforts, and personalized and friendly hospitality. IF it fixes a few holes in the fabric, it could be a winner. The biggest letdown was the extremely lame breakfast that had almost no good local food in it and the dated room interior. IF they get that fixed they can be a true charmer. LOCATION: Good location in old Bhaktapur and walkable from Durbar square and ll points of interest DINE + DRINK: The Breakfast was a disappointment and it was closed quite early in the night even before we arrived. There is also No good Bar on site. ROOM: We stayed in Room 401, so this review is based on that; VIEW: Random view of the cityscape ; SIZE: Spacious enough with a huge living room and s separate Bedroom; AIR-CON: Perfectly functioning cooler that helped in setting the perfect room temperature; BED: Comfortable bed that played the expected part of putting me to sleep; BATHROOM: A very doo Bathtub shower with no shower curtains! ; TOILETRIES: Very random cosmetics, better to bring your own FACILITIES: No gym on site, but there is an outdoor pool that is unusable in colder weathers. SERVICE: Friendly staff that took care of all our needs with a smile and made us feel pampered and well taken care of. Special Shout out to RINA at front desk and SAIU at the breakfast restaurant HOW WIRED YOU WILL BE: Super slow Wi-Fi that was patchy in the room! The rating is predominantly for the setting and fantastic views over the Himalayas at sunrise from the pleasant gardens and grounds. The rooms are very spacious, clean and quiet and arranged to maximise the views. The room was not the warmest and the AC was not easy to work out although plenty of blankets were available. The open plan layout of the dining room, reception, lounge lent itself to being drafts and so the best seats in the restaurant were adjacent to the portable heaters. The a La carte option of chicken in a basket was straight from the freezer and the nuggets were barely edible. Stick to the buffet. That said, the restaurant staff were very pleasant and courteous.

Except for the small room and the old room, everything else is pretty good. I really don't know how the hotels in Nepal rated the stars. The 4 stars in the room are really not as good as the 3 stars.
