Not recommended. When I arrived at the hotel, I was told that there was no room, so I was forced to go to other Sheraton hotels on my own. Ctrip will not refund the obvious price difference. Both Ctrip and the hotel are terrible.

I never write reviews, but my experience needs to be known. I am a platinum Marriott Bonvoy member who travels almost every week. I found this hotel to be way over priced relative to other hotels in this market and here's why. Most importantly, I walked around my room barefoot and contracted athletes foot. Honestly, I could probably stop here, however I will continue. Additionally, there was several hairs in my shower when I arrived. Finally, with the exception of the lobby, this hotel is dated and does meet expectations for the price. In my humble experience, this hotel would offer value at $150/night. I spent a little over $600 for 2 nights and I am very disappointed in the experience for the money I spent. I will be traveling frequently to Kansas City in the future and I will never stay at this hotel again. There are much better options for less or about the same money. If you are traveling to Kansas City, I would recommend avoiding this hotel.

I stayed at a conferenced at the Westin in February 2024. I was not given a copy of my bill to review at checkout but they emailed it to me. Two days later I printed it out and discovered that they had charged me for parking in their garage, which I did not. I have phoned too many times to count, spoken with people in accounting, and emailed repeatedly since then. First I was told that they cannot refund my personally paid credit card charges until the group hosting the organization paid its (non-related) bills, which 5 weeks later still has not been done. The hotel says they cannot refund me--even though I am an individual who paid with my personal credit card--until the organization settles up. This it not fair to me as a I've already had to pay for parking that I did not incur and still they keep making excuses for not refunding my money. I will not stay there again. Be sure to look over your bill very carefully as they charged me for parking that I did not do and I've spent hours now on phone calls and via email trying to get my refund.

Very accommodating! Valet parking was the way to go. Easy access to Union Station and Crown Center. Loved the little courtesy touches in the room - lavendar roller oil on the night stand, amazing selection of cosmetics, Starbucks coffee/tea. Didnt try room service but the menu looked superb.

The people are super friendly and helpful. Beds are very comfortable.
We even had a Pelaton in our room.
The only negative was multiple requests for a non feathered pillow.

Stayed here the night before the Kansas Chiefs Super Bowl Parade. As expected, this hotel just like most hotels along and near the parade route put their dynamic pricing strategies into effect. Due to the price gouging effect, I chose to reserve and pay for my stay with Marriott BonVoy points. My stay experience was average at best. Most staff we encountered were pleasant and professional at the front desk. We had breakfast at the One East Urban Bar/Kitchen. The food was good and priced reasonably. however, the staff was having a difficult time keeping up with all of the customers. Service was very slow. The standard guest room was clean and comfortable but the decor somewhat dated. We were unable to use the in-room safe because it was locked. There are seven guest elevators serving the hotel tower. The wait for these elevators was painfully slow during busy times. Hotel staff directed us to use the employee service elevators often during our stay.
