Very convenient location, lot of parking space

It was a satisfying inn with a lovely retro atmosphere. We were traveling with three friends, and the amenities were three different colors, so it was obvious at a glance who had used which towel or toothbrush. The small attention to detail made us feel at ease. The hot spring water was a little lukewarm and had excellent moisturizing effects, which was also satisfying, and all the food was delicious and filling. The staff were very kind, and I would definitely like to stay here again.

The hotel's location is too remote. Friends who are not capable of driving themselves must be advised not to leave, unless you are willing to wait for the few buses available. The surrounding scenic spots are nothing more than that, not as impressive as the mountains and rivers in China. The room facilities are very old and the public hot spring environment is average, but the water quality is silky smooth. The worst thing is the food provided here, none of them are satisfactory. We even saw a crawling Xiaoqiang in the restaurant, which is outrageous! ! ! Everyone, persuade me to retreat, persuade you to retreat again!

The room is spacious, clean, fully equipped, the quilt is comfortable, and the environment is beautiful. Dinner was cooked with great care. There are two hot springs, inside and outside, both with suitable temperatures. It’s a great stay experience.

The location is really deep in the mountain village, so it takes quite a while to get there, but you can relax and enjoy the hot springs in a leisurely way in the mountains. The facilities, food, hot springs, cleanliness, and friendliness are 100 points for the price. Definitely intend to visit again!!!

I really like hot springs. You can enter until 9am. The rooms and the front desk are all clean. The breakfast and dinner meals were also satisfying. This inn is close to Sumata Gorge, a 30-minute walk away.

The remote location is certain, but it is a relatively large-scale hotel in that area. After checking out in the morning, go to the Dream Suspension Bridge. The car is also allowed to park in the hotel's parking lot for a period of time, just come back and drive away, which is commendable.

It was right next to the bus stop. The food was delicious, and the hot springs were relaxing. Our plan included a private bath, but we could only use it before the gender swap, so we prioritized private baths. Therefore, one of the large public baths could not be used. In the morning, I went to the suspension bridge, and after returning, I had breakfast, took a hot spring bath, and checked out. I think this is a typical accommodation in Sumatakyo Onsen. I only make last-minute solo travel plans when a room is available, but now that the steam locomotive only runs as far as Ieyama, I am fully open and accepting reservations. Dinner is loaded with mountain produce. Strangely enough, they don't serve sashimi, which seems to be a mountain inn. It is made with yuba, konnyaku, tofu, and river fish. The main dish is wild boar hotpot, followed by salt-grilled amago and wild vegetable tempura. No, it's so loud it's breathtaking. In particular, the 9 small side dishes mainly consisting of wild vegetables are surprisingly heavy. Because you use your jaw, you feel full faster... Finally, you reach dessert. It's a mystery that only the desserts have a tropical feel lol Breakfast is simple and easy on the stomach. The hot pot was oden and came with miso sauce.

My wife, daughter, and elderly parents visited here in late November, when the leaves were just beginning to change. I checked in on a Sunday, so I expected the inn and hot spring town to be quiet, but the bus stop was crowded and the parking lot was almost full, so it was quite busy. The front desk is small, and the staff who checks you in will guide you directly to your room, so if there is a customer ahead of you, you may have to wait quite a while. The guest rooms we used were two on the first floor of a separate building. We had informed them at the time of reservation that there was an elderly person with disabilities, so they provided us with a room that could be moved on a flat surface to the public bath and dining area. Thank you. The 10 tatami Japanese-style room has a sink, toilet, and bath.The sink is spacious and easy to use, and is equipped with a washlet toilet and a large refrigerator. The cleaning conditions were good, and the futon was a type that was laid on a cushion, so it was very comfortable to sleep on. The large public bath has an indoor bath that can accommodate about 10 people and an outdoor bath that can accommodate about 5 people, and the water quality is alkaline. There was a change of men and women during the dinner time, and the men who entered in the evening felt a little more spacious. The hot water felt slimy and sticky, and there was a slight sulfur smell in the open air, which I didn't notice in the indoor bath. There are two dining options: a restaurant where you can enter with your shoes on, and a restaurant with a tatami floor.We ate at the restaurant (at a table) both in the morning and in the evening. The food is a local cuisine style that focuses on mountain products, and oddly enough, it doesn't come with sashimi (trout sashimi is included), so it's a nice menu. The salt-grilled amago was especially delicious. The restaurant staff were Asian women wearing Samue-style uniforms, but many of them were fluent in Japanese and noticed us well, so we had no problems. There are no convenience stores nearby, so you have to buy drinks in your room at a shop or from a vending machine, but the prices inside the hotel, which tend to be expensive, were very reasonable and were about the same as in the city. The next morning, I finished breakfast early and went out on foot from the inn to Yume no Suspension Bridge, but since it was a Monday morning, I was able to cross it without waiting (no sign of anyone for a few hundred meters in front or behind me!) and check out safely. I was able to go back to. Cold tea is served at the entrance to the bathhouse, and there is also a small shop and game corner. This is a very nice inn for a hot spring inn in the mountains. thank you very much.

Right next to the bus stop at the Sumata Gorge Onsen entrance. The facilities are relatively new and clean. The only way to get to the hotel is by bus or car.
