Three Island Motel

Had a pleasant stay during my business trip. The motel was quiet, clean, and easy to access. I really appreciated the convenient parking and the helpful staff. Everything was comfortable, and the price was very reasonable. Would happily stay here again.

We stayed here after checking reviews and seeing a 4.2 average. We expected better. It is definitely an economy motel but the price didn't quite reflect that. No complaint about the service, but the room and everything in it was quite run down and dated and felt a bit abandoned. We were amused by the bottle opener attached to the wall the the car air freshener hanging in the room. It was ok, but we wouldn't recommend it to friends. Maybe other rooms were updated, but I'd be surprised.

The bed side table had a drawer and in it was a crack pipe and other drug related items. My wife lost sleep over that. Not a comfortable feeling. The room was cluttered with used furniture, didnt look like the photos on line. When we checked out and showed the staffer the photo they claimed a woman had stayed there the night before. I dont agree, it looked like it had been there much longer and the room would have smelled. No apology was given and no refund offered. Motel needs an renovation/update overhaul big time.

The rooms were clean, beds were comfortable and appreciated the AC. Owner were wonderful and very accommodating when I accidentally booked 2 rooms. Thank you and we enjoyed our stay

We arrived at the motel, it looks run down, it had already been a long day, so we checked in but as soon as we got into the room we decided to find another hotel. It was damp and run down and felt dirty.

Clean, comfortable room. Stayed three days in mid-June to attend a fibre fest in nearby Fenelon Falls (and relax). Friendly desk staff, fridge/microwave, TV — all fine. Comfy bed. Great value, too.

The room was clean but very small. The bathroom was no more than three and a half feet wide. The air conditioner was very loud. And the bed was really not that comfortable.

The motel's linens, including sheets and bath towels, were outdated and worn. Given the limited facilities, $40 per night seems a fair reflection of the accommodation's value.
