perfect location, close to everything in Korissia but silent at night; rooms a little dated but very clean and reasonably spacious, with very pleasant balconies and a lovely view on the bay; service very kind and helpful. I didn't have breakfast but I saw other guests having it on the front porch and dished looked tasty and varied. Very reasonable prices. I would recommend Hotel Karthea to everyone visiting Kea. Posizione perfetta, vicino a tutto a Korissia ma silenzioso di notte; camere un po' datate ma molto pulite e ragionevolmente spaziose, con balconi molto piacevoli e una bella vista sulla baia; servizio molto gentile e disponibile. Non ho fatto colazione in hotel, ma ho visto altri ospiti che la facevano sulla veranda e i piatti sembravano gustosi e vari. Prezzi molto onesti. Raccomanderei l'Hotel Karthea a tutti coloro che visitano Kea.

Μείναμε 14 ημέρες Καθαρά ανακαινισμένα δωμάτια χωρίς να κουβαλάνε προβλήματα Άψογη καθαριότητα και εξαιρετικά ευγενικό προσωπικό Το συνιστώ ανεπιφύλακτα για όσους δν αναζητούν «δήθεν» καταλύματα κ εκτιμούν ανθρώπινη πραγματική τουριστική φιλοξενία

Εαν και το κλείσαμε τελευταία στιγμή είμασταν τυχεροί με την επιλογή. Το προσωπικό ευγενικότατο, οι χώροι πεντακάθαροι και η ιδιοκτήτρια φιλικότατη κι πάντα έτοιμη να εξυπηρετήσει. Το πρωινό τίμιο (+10€) εαν θέλεις. Η τοποθεσια του Ξενοδοχείου ειναι σε κεντρικότατο σημείο, στην αρχή του λιμανιού, ειδικά εαν έχεις παιδια-εφηβους!

The hotel is well located in the port of Kea. It is very nicely decorated; pleasant, modern rooms, friendly service, excellent breakfast served to order. The hotel is medium sized and has its own parking spot outside reception, It is very close to the row of cafes and restaurants along the port promenade.

La bâtisse beige paraît un peu austère, à côté des maisons blanches du port, mais l'accueil y est très agréable. Bon confort et chambres aérées donnant sur la mer. Personnel accueillant (hors saison, en tout cas). Nous n'avons pas pris le petit-déjeuner en option, et préféré acheter le nécessaire pour le déguster sur les balcons. Literie très confortable.

A very nice comfortable hotel in a very handy position for the ferry. Excellent breakfast too. Lovely friendly staff. It looks a bit out of place on the outside, but we were there for a week and were very glad we’d chosen it.

The personal was very nice and the rooms (with a nice view to the port - if you wish it) were always clean. The place is an ideal starting point for little trips on the Island of Kea (renting a car in Korissia, some kind restaurants, some little shops). Low-priced!
