Hotel is old dingy and nothing spectacular. The guy at the front desk is rude!! He checked us in. Knew we needed a pull out sofa. Called front desk asking where the sheets were., he said down here I will get them to you. We waited for almost an hour and I called back. Gd said come get them, I went down and he glared at me. Said what? I said I’m here for the sheets. He said well they are not at the front desk… EXCUSE ME?!? I followed him to the dirty back room where the linens were kept. He said I’m by myself.. I said you should have given the sheets at check in. .i said the customer should not have to do the work as we are paying for this! He said well you don’t own the hotel now do you! I WILL NEVER STAY IN THIS DUMP AGAIN!!!

People were nice but the room could have been cleaner. There were stains on the rug, hair in the shower… we skipped breakfast for one of the great options in town. Location is great if you have to be in or around Keene- such a cute town! The beds were soft, which my daughter liked but I couldn’t sleep well.

Very pleased with our stay at this property. The room was clean & very comfortable. The shower was fantastic it had great pressure. I really liked the Guild & Pepper warm oak bath products. I will be purchasing some for use at home.

The staff was friendly, the room was clean and bed comfortable, the breakfast had a variety of options available. I’ll stay here again!

I don’t recommend this property, our sheets had dried blood on them. The breakfast was cold and not replenished in a timely manner.

This Ascend Hotel, a new member in the Choice chain , is just stellar!! I stayed 5 nights and would definitely book again if I was in town! The hotel is clean, quiet, the staff really welcome you and try to make your stay comfortable. Dillon is a excellent front desk person, he helped me several times with suggestions AND a helping hand! The manager/ owner really takes pride in providing a good experience. He really is an exceptional! Please keep up the good work!

Everything was OK, except for the coffee they use (Folgers) It was almosty undrinkable;bitter and harsh.
