A high-class hotel, very pampering and serviceable

WOW WOW WOW............ There are not enough words to portray how wonderful this hotel is. Every member of staff has your interests at heart. The whats app that is offered was a great idea, and worked so well, being able to keep in touch with the hotel at all times. I have stayed in many 5 * hotels over the years, and whilst this isn't a 5* as such, this is the best staff experience we have ever received. So much so, that on our return back to the UK we re-booked within 2 days....... for 2025. If you like to be pampered & experience great service, within a small stylish hotel, then look no further, just go !!!!!!

This is a modern, high-tec, state-of-the-art hotel at the more relaxed North end of Argostoli. That does not mean it is cold and clinical - quite the opposite! It is one of the most congenial hotels we have ever stayed in. We had a very warm welcome from Martine and Petros, and were upgraded to a top floor suite - the same type of suite that we had booked, but with a better view. These suites are amazing - the absolute pinnacle of comfort, convenience and luxury. You soon learn your way round the technology - including opening the curtains with a switch by your bed! The jacuzzi on the balcony was a first for us! There's a very well stocked minibar and plentiful supplies of complementary tea, coffee and water. The rooms are fully serviced twice a day. There's great shower and one of the most comfortable beds we have ever slept in. Then comes breakfast, served by the wonderful Kristina. Quite honestly, it is the most wonderfully varied menu we have been offered in any hotel, in any country! Everything is a la carte and cooked to order. It is easy to eat far too much! I happened to mention that I liked loukanika (Greek sausages) and next morning, there they were! In the evenings they do not have their own restaurant, but their recently-opened sister hotel a few meters away has an excellent one, with tables by the waterside and a great 'modern-Greek' menu. The Canale is an exceptional hotel in every way. If you're looking for a spot of luxury in Kefalonia, look no further!

From the moment you step onto the welcome mat outside the hotel until you exit and head home the experience is sheer bliss . The hotel maintains exceptionally housekeeping , front of house and food standards that worthy of 6 stars . We felt privileged to stay and would like to keep this hotel a secret 🥰 The decor is lovely and the small attention to detail is exemplary . The hotel provides complimentary first row luxury beds at the Costa Costa beach resort , the staff display the same level of attentiveness on arrival leading you to your well positioned bed. Thanks to all staff who allowed us to have 9 nights and 9 wonderful breakfasts at this hotel. Highly recommend this hotel.

Staff absolutely superb, attentive, very helpful yet relaxed atmosphere. Breakfast to die for, very high standard of accommodation, parking outside & they will do that for you. Bed very comfortable, room & indeed the whole hotel has been built/decorated to a very high standard. We had Penthouse suite with hot tub on balcony.

We are just home from a wonderful holiday to Canale Hotel Argostoli and we can't praise it enough. From the very minute we got off the coach to the minute we got picked up to go home. The staff were impeccably dressed and so helpful, literally nothing was too much trouble for them to do for you. They were friendly, offered advice, and were on hand 24/7. I am normally ready to go home, but here I could have happily stayed so much longer. The hotel was superb, and the rooms were cleaned twice daily and were spotless. The breakfast, Wow!! I cannot possibly explain how amazing the food was, and how Christina could remember everything on the menu was an art. The pastries, cakes, fruit and eggs were cooked and expertly presented and served always with a smile. The little things like complementary water in the evenings and little sweets were delightful. We stayed in a penthouse suite and we can honestly say how amazing it was. The high tech in the rooms we soon got the hang of. The bed was so comfortable and the linens and towels were soft and immaculate. The staff in reception were amazing, they organised sun beds at Costa Costa beach, which is suburb, and arranged cabs there and back. They offered personal recommendations, the pizza restaurant we would never have seen. The icecream palour was amazing too. We will definitely be returning asap.

We absolutely loved our stay, it was definitely the best hotel we have ever stayed at for both the highest standard of customer service and standard of hotel. A huge thank you to Costas, Petros, Christina, Martine and Maria. Sorry I didn't get all the names but every single member of staff were a credit to the hotel, they all made us feel so special. We were upgraded to a room with a jacuzzi on the balcony and had a great view. The breakfast each morning was delicious and HUGE, compliments to the lovely lady who made this beautifully every morning, served by the lovely, smiley Christina. We booked our boat trip, beach club day (free of charge) and car rental all through the hotel and visited numerous places all recommended by the lovely staff. Nothing was a problem to them at all. Our best meals were at recommended places which they booked for us too including Costa D'Oro at their sister hotel, the Casaly Hotel, superb red snapper at Vinaries restaurant and traditional greek amazing food at Palia Plaka. We loved chatting to Costas and Petros on our way out, they also went out of their way to get us a walking stick when my husband sprained his ankle. On our return after our meals there was the lovely Martine and Maria, always smiling and genuinely interested in where we'd been and what we had been doing. We hope to see them all again very soon.

The staff truly make your stay memorable. They look after every need organising restaurant, taxis, excursions and suggesting what you might like following a brief enquiry/chat. We know they got us reservations when others would have failed and the taxi drivers they recommended are fab. The rooms are very clean, modern and have everything you’ll need. We are seasoned travellers and will struggle to find a better tailored service. A true credit to the whole team.

We want to say a HUGE thank you to all the wonderful staff at the Canale Suites we had the most incredible time, from the moment we arrived we felt like we were staying with friends and family. A very special mention to Costa, Petros and Christina they were superb their dedication and attention to detail kind and friendly attitude was like nothing we have experienced before. The room was beautiful with a stunning view, with a jacuzzi on the balcony it took our breath away WOW. We want to thank Costa for his recommendations his knowledge of the Island was second to none and especially the fish restaurant Vinaries where we had the most fabulous meal in a beautiful setting. Also a big thank you to Petros for all his help and top tips of the best beaches and hidden gems on the island. He helped us with renting a car so we could fully explore, when we had a problem on one of the days we just rang him on WhatsApp and sorted it for us, nothing was to much trouble.He also booked front row sun-beds on Costa Costa beach which are complementary for guests which is stunning. Then we come to Christina the beautiful young lady who brought us breakfast every morning. She was always smiling and was genuinely interested in our what we been up to and what we had planned for the day. She tempted us with all the amazing food that had been freshly prepared everything was exceptional and never ending. We cannot recommend this hotel enough every single member of staff were incredible so thank you for an epic holiday we will never forget, it totally exceeded our expectations.
