Abbey Fields by Chef & Brewer Collection

A great and elegant B&B/Gastro Pub in a historical town. Quiet and comfortable. -breakfast was lacking somewhat (the continental part was very basic). Staff were very friendly and attentive.

Had a meal here last Tuesday. The menu is traditional pub grub. Unfortunately there was no chef and the manager was doing the cooking. But even though a reduced menu. It was good pub grub. Certainly recommend the steak pie. The fish and chips were tasty and well presented. Had bread and butter and this gave some scampi tails to go with the fish. The staff were all friendly and helpful

A comfortable quiet stay.

This is a really lovely hotel just outside of the town of Kenilworth. It is a five to ten minute walk across a park to get to the town centre. The bedroom was clean and well equipped with tea and coffee making facilities, iron and ironing board and toiletries. I had a room at the side of the building and it was quiet even with the window open. The bed was comfortable and both the bedroom and bathroom were cleaned to a high standard. A lovely breakfast was included and there was always plenty available. I enjoyed my stay and will definitely book again if I return to Kenilworth.

We stayed 2 nights, we were attending a medieval event at Kenilworth Castle. We chose the hotel due to its nearness to the castle (about 3mins in car and about 15mins on foot). So glad we did. Staff are lovely, very friendly yet professional. Room and bathroom spotless, shower very good and hot. Bed very comfortable and room had all we needed. Breakfast fantastic. Gorgeous fluffy pancakes with generous helpings of bacon and maple syrup. Husband had full English and it was so huge he struggled to finish! And quality of sausages, bacon etc very good. We also had dinner here on one night. My sea bass was great, and husbands steak was spot on. Again, very generous portions and good quality ingredients. Unfortunately, couldn't manage a pudding but they sounded good. We will definitely stay again.

Came here for breakfast ..probably one of the best I’ve had so far …sausages were tasty , bacon was spot on and the eggs were perfect!!! Service was quick and professional ! Partner had a salmon with poached eggs and that was beautiful presented too!!

I had booked a table for 8 to celebrate my friends forthcoming "0" birthday months in advance, on arrival could not get the allocated table due to other guests running late. We were given another table & as it turned out was better as we were able to decorate the table & surrounding area better. The food which we had had pre- ordered was amazing, all hot & on hot plates, served quickly so no waiting for other meals to be served. We had a really lovely evening until we came to settle our bill. Six paid on card two cash - Nicole then came back to advise two payments missing, we the went through all payments again & even though one lady proved via banking app payment still not showing on their billing system, the other lady paid again & there name & telephone numbers taken. This issue will hotel billing system & WiFi soured end of a lovely evening. On arriving home the lady who had paid twice has had two payments taken from her account, so now she has to arrange with her bank before getting a payment back. I did email the hotel, the next day but as yet no reply.

Decided a Sunday lunch was in order so dropped into the Abbey Field, good call, great food, very helpful staff. I’d not booked but they fitted me in, special mention for Nicki and Connor who were very helpful and friendly. I had the roast beef with all the trimmings and it was delicious and substantial. Would recommend a visit!

Lovely comfortable room. Excellent friendly staff. Will happily stay again in this fantastic hotel.
