Extended Stay America Suites - New Orleans - Airport - I-10

The customer service representative checking us in wanted us to double pay and insulted us by insinuating their was not enough money on the confirming credit card when the reservation where confirmed to pay for the room.

This hotel was one of the worst places that I have ever stayed at. I arrived at 1am, which I called to tell them I would be arriving around this time. Between no one being at the front desk when I arrived, 1 of the 2 courtesy phones in the lobby not working, being disconnected from the first Extended Stay customer service agents, and then the iPad that they use for check-in not working and the clerk having to call the help desk twice - it was 2:15am before I got to my room. When I entered my room, I noticed the poor condition, but I was so tired that I didn't care right then. I fell asleep and was woken up at 6am from the sunlight coming into the room due to the fact the window had no curtains, just wooden blinds. In the light, I now got a better look at the poor condition of the room. There were dents in the fridge, rust on the fridge, the cabinets were beat up, a large part of the arm of the chair had been pealed off, and there was rust on the lamp. When discussing these things with the hotel staff, I was told that I could go to WalMart and buy black out curtains and that my room was one of the most recently updated rooms in the hotel. This is absolutely not a place where I was comfortable staying at for the week I was in town and will never stay at an Extended Stay America again.

Good customer service nice clean rooms Simple free grab and go breakfast but it was something !

Except for the part that there was no warm breakfast, it was perfect for our stay w the Sugar Bowl

If I could I would get a refund for this stay I would . Only reason I stayed is because by the time I checked the room and did my inspection I was already charged for the room and, didn’t have immediate funds to get another hotel somewhere. Also on their website it says you have to pay a $100 security deposit if you PAY IN CASH, but you have to pay the $100 regardless. Room had stains, chair was ripped up, bad smell throughout the hotel, just wasn’t a good experience

They do a $100 deposit that is not mentioned before purchasing. Also, the sheets were dirty upon arrival and had us request the new sheets by bringing them ourselves to the front desk. Did not provide ice buckets, and the room had significant damage on the chair, wall paint, and counter.

First I'll start with them trying to charge me a smoking fee WHEN I DON'T EVEN SMOKE!!! The hotel itself looks nice if I'm being honest but there is a spoiled smell or old water smell that's been sitting up some like mold idk throughout the building... The TV didn't work no one could fix it either... The wood on the bathroom door is starting to rot which also may be the smell... Bad experience with this place all together!!! I took pictures too the system won't let me post them

Room had a bleach smell, water smells of chlorine. No room key the entire stay staff had to let us in and out the room. Bed was hard.
