The front desk is not very friendly but the service in the restaurant is very good and the breakfast is great

Anniversary treat. Lovely hotel,fantastic staff especially in the spa, they couldn't do enough for you. We were given a gift bag full of samples for our Anniversary which was a lovely surprise. Chocolates and a card left on the bed in the room. Fantastic staff in the bar downstairs, made the best mojitos. 😋👌 Breakfast was lovely, good selection, fantastic staff. The power shower in the room 😳was AMAZING, it was like the jets in the spa. Highly recommend this hotel, we will definitely be back. Thank you to all the staff who gave us a fantastic Anniversary stay. 5🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

The grounds are simply spectacular and the location was great! The rooms were nice but could have been a bit cleaner. It was disappointing that the restaurant doesn’t hold tables for guests and we were t able to eat in the main dining room on the night we arrived. But the breakfast was great!

We both thoroughly enjoyed our 3 days in Grasmere. It was our first time visiting the Lakes and will definitely return soon.

We went to the Daffodil Hotel in May for a few days break, and what a lovely relaxing stay it was too. Everywhere was so clean and the room was large overlooking the lake. I have some problems dining with dietary requirements due to illness but Simina and Fenando were absolutely brilliant with me (management please thank them for me, it will mean more coming from you). Another lady who always had a smile on her face was Lee in the lounge area. The weather was fairly kind so sitting outside with that lovely view, how could you not relax. Thanks to all for a lovely stay. Will be back.
