Lovely afternoon tea. Everything freshly made and delicious. Excellent service. Very welcoming and we took our 2 doggies too who were made to feel at home. Overall a great experience. The hotel is in a beautiful setting and the weather on our visit showed it at its best. Previous reviews suggested it’s a bit tricky to find but ample parking once there.

Just returned from a wonderful weekend at The Hilltwaite Hotel with friends. We stayed last September for our Ruby wedding anniversary & loved it so much, we came back again, this time for a weekend to meet up with friends. From checking in to checking out every member of staff were amazing, so welcoming & friendly, they even remembered us from last year. Rooms were lovely, spacious & had great views over the lakes & hills beyond. Food was again beautiful, we had a BBEM package & both breakfast & evening meal had lovely choices & well presented & tasty. The hotel is nice & quiet, just what we needed, plenty of room to chill out, relax & have a drink & catch up. We will definitely return to your wonderful hotel again.
