Hampton Inn Keokuk

I loved the fact that everyone that I talked to seems genuinely happy, sweet and very polite, with their answers! The breakfast is always great! Can't beat a Hampton Inn breakfast! The pool was clean and we'll stocked with pool towels, and the room was very clean! Fantastic job to all involved!!!

The property was relativley clean and the staff at check in was very good....however the hotel was very disappointing in regards to the pool. We booked this hotel due to the indoor heated pool while travelig with 3 little boys so they could enjoy the pool and burn off some energy for the travel. VERY DISAPPOINTED to find out the pool was not heated and the staff did not seem to be surprised by this. They did NOT tell us upon check in that the pool heater was not working. So needless to say, with 3 litte boys, all under age 6, we got to the rooms all settled in swimsuits on only to go to the pool and find out it was NOT heated and so cold they could not stay in the water. It was too late by then to check out and go to another hotel. The hotel manager did not offer any remedy until demanded. Then they only offered refund for one of 2 rooms. VERY dissappointing and will not stay at this particular hotel again.

This was a clean, well-maintained hotel with friendly staff and a good breakfast. We appreciated a room on the ground floor with parking nearby, which made checking in and out very easy. The bathroom area had a very small sink with no room to set a toiletry bag. The sink was separate from the commode and shower, which is normally a convenience, but the whole area felt crowded.

The staff were all very friendly and helpful. I requested an accessible room with a walk-in shower. The room was on the second floor which was fine but it was the last room in the hallway away from the elevator and a difficult trek for me. The bed was fabulous- very comfortable with lots of fabulous pillows. I wish there had been a comfortable chair. My biggest complaint was the toilet that had not been cleaned before I checked in and had feces on the sides. This was not my first stay and I will return, but I will be more specific about my needs and cleanliness. I did not notice the note in the room that they do not provide housekeeping services every day unless requested.

The only negative was the evening clerk who checked us in. More concerned with smoking outside than checking us in. Surly and definitely acted as if she did not enjoy her job.

Our toliet had urine all the way down the side of it. Alots of hair in the bathroom. The remainder of the room was clean. Bathroom needed attention

Very few hotels in town, but is a gem.

Had an exceptional stay at the Hampton Inn - Keokuk. Was greeted by their very friendly staff at check-in & check-out. Rooms were very clean and spacious. Breakfast was fantastic. Overall very pleased with our stay here. We will be back!
