Long bumpy dirt road to the resort. The site was filled with construction noise and workers. Lots of excavated land, barely any nature besides the jungle trek. Sound-proofing in the room was bad. Many activities require extra fee to participate. Barely any toiletries provided.

Came across this resort from social media and decided to drop by here for a day trip. While I have lower my expectations before I come, its surprising to find the place is not bad at all (aside from the 4km access from the main road). Although the resort is not run by hotel operators, many of the staffs are quite attentive and adequately trained to serve. I particularly love the hot spring area and the riverside gazebo. As the place is still undergoing some minor renovation works, I believe it can offer a much better experience to the visitor once its fully completed. The one things that I wish the resort will look into is the separation between workers storage and access. Its weird to have workers walking in n out beside the spa area as they need to pass by the spa to do the washing/collect their tools. Again, I would like to emphasize this is not a 4-5 star resort but one have to see it from a domestic perspective to enjoy it.

A great sanctuary not too far ie an hour plus from busy city of Kuala Lumpur. Hidden gem with good development by the operator. One can experience the staying in a jungle experience, enjoying real SPA river/ stream with cold water, underground hot spring, juggle tracking, ... and other activities. We rented 2 units of its 4 beds unit, and wnjoyed the good view, good amenities, and cozy rooms. All meals are covered within the package. It can be different experince depending on individual, but I had enjoyed mybstay very much. Wish to be back again someday. Adios ...

The first impression i received from this resort was a bad one. I had contacted the resort to enquire about a day trip with my family. I had asked for someone to call me back, but no one had the decency to do so. Worse, the staff i was communicating with on whats app refused to reveal his or her name when i asked by whats app. I found this rather perplexing. There was also much confusion as to the payment terms. Earlier, a kind soft spoken lady called Joya had informed me that we need not make any payment until we arrived at the resort as it was a day trip and hence no room bookings required. However, the later staff who refused to reveal his or her name insisted i had to pay in full! I explained that we were merely making a day trip with no hotel overnight stay and I also asked her to explain why the hotel was inconsistent with their policy as the earlier staff had told me that we could pay on the day of arrival as it was only a day trip. I even suggested that i could place a deposit but the staff's reply was that they do not collect deposits for a day trip. She then informed me that there was still availability for a day trip and told me to walk in. This response was again absurd as to reach this resort, one has to travel quite a distance on a bumpy potholed road! The staff's reply was that the earlier staff did not know the SOP and policy of the hotel. I found this explanation rather absurd. Judging by the unprofessionalism of how this resort had handled my intended stay, i decided to give this place a miss. I did not see any hospitality and spared my family an unpleasant trip and opted for another resort instead.

Beacon Resort near to Ulu Yam set within a tropical jungle, complete with clean hot springs pools , beautiful river with gentle rapids flowing within the resort and a east to moderate jungle trail is definitely worth more than a 2 Star rating . The food is excellent, wholesome without any hint of Ajinomoto , much like home cooked tasty food Customer service is first class . Went all way out to help my wheel chair bound 90years old mother which made her holiday so memorable for her . Owner was seen serving her guest with her staff at breakfast when we were there .

Had an amazing weekend with them as I stayed in their jasmine A! We get to experience their natural hot spring, hydrogen spa, and also get to chill by the river. • This close to nature experience was definitely something much needed to relax my mind and body. • If you’re looking for somewhere to relax your mind and soul ( that is close to the nature but 100 percent clean) this is the place to be!

Overly rated and priced resort with skeleton facilities. Hot spring was the only charm. The road leading to the resort is laterite with potholes. Rainy season, the potholes are filled with muddy water. The stretch from main riad is 4 km. The massage treatment were damn expensive despite 50% discount ie 1.5 hours massage is almost RM 300. Unfriendly resort staff who do not smile nor greet guests at all. The only smiling and courteous staff was the check-in personnel. We stayed at the peppermint and overall was average. There was an electric kettle and a pair of tea cups and saucers. No coffee nor tea bags and sugar at all. What is the point for having such an incomplete beverage facilities. Food was lousy and basic with no hot drinks during dinner. One kind soul by the name Joyah made a pot of coffee for us. Dessert was fruits only and nowhere seen organic meal as claimed. Breakfast was a big dissappointment, just like dinner. Salty fried mee, pre-plated cut fruits, hard and soft boiled eggs, white bread served with planta & kaya and hot drinks. Those who keen, think thrice and do not be fooled!!!

After reading so many good reviews of this place, decided to stay with a few friends. Some spots are Instagram-able or tiktok worthwhile. Other than hot spring n river, basically nothing much to do there. Unless you opt for paid massages. We were unlucky as it rained the evening and next day during our 1 night stay. Room with kettle but no tea/coffee provided. You can't buy snacks other than cup noodles maggi n chips from the counter. Food was not good. Such a waste as they claimed its organic. Tea time was fried beehoon with a bit of vegetables n chicken nuggets. 'Tong sui' green mung beans n tea n coffee. Dinner was just at bad... bland n tasteless. Breakfast was soggy yellow noodles, porridge, plated fruits, white bread, tea n coffee. After seeing the breakfast served and previous meals, we didn't have much hope for a good lunch n decided to checkout immediately after breakfast.

We spent the weekend at Beacon Resort. We arrived late for the check-in as our journey there was met with the torrential rain. Our check-in was around 7:30pm. The resort’s staff made 2 phone calls to us before that time, and that was highly appreciated. We soon realised that our booking had a mistake, but the problem was quickly resolved via some communications with the booking personnel, and we were able to check-in 🙏. Unfortunately, on this getaway weekend of ours, the resort was very busy—-the crowds there were boisterous and highly energetic. Meal times were met with noisy and not-very-gracious diners. At the thermal springs, the scene was the same— loud laughters, loud chatters, inappropriately dressed guests (not wearing the prescribed attire at the thermal springs although the signages and rules were displayed), was a devastating turn-off. 🥺 Hence, We did not manage to experience the thermal springs. ### This atmosphere did not meet our expectation of a relaxing and serene weekend. Perhaps we will have the privilege to visit this beautiful resort again some day, when the “busy-ness” calms.### *Otherwise, please congratulate the Management on the helpful staff, clean & tidy environment, and the aesthetically superior Resort.*
