The view from the inn is spectacular! You really get a sense of how just how magical the light on waves of Blue Ridge Mountains can be. The rooms are large, clean, and comfy, and the new innkeepers, Heather and John, love being of service. Their enthusiasm for welcoming and enjoying guests makes this beautiful getaway a truly exceptional experience!

This place was the best of both worlds- an easy quick to the cute small town of Lexington, but with the scenery of a mountain escape. Rooms were spacious and extremely comfortable, breakfasts were delicious, and views of the mountains outstanding. Very peaceful place.

My husband and I spent two nights here as a base for exploring Shenandoah National Park and Blue Ridge Mountains. The inn is a five minute drive into the town of Lexington and the location itself is very quiet and peaceful. We stayed in the Blue Ridge Cottage, which was wonderful and very private. The hot tub was the cleanest one I've ever seen at a vacation property (as a hot tub owner, I'm quite picky), and we enjoyed it both nights. The bathroom is spacious and the heated floors were a nice touch. The bed was extremely comfortable. Having a refrigerator was great for storing wine and cheese that we'd picked up in the area to enjoy on our balcony. The owners, Barbara and Volker, were lovely hosts, and they served a delicious 3-course breakfast in a small dining room with stunning views of the mountains. Charley, their Golden Retriever, is such a sweet fellow and made us miss our own Golden a little less while we were away. I highly recommend staying here, and have already told a friend who wants to visit the area. Vielen Dank, Barbara und Volker!

This was the best decision we made to stay at the Brierley B&B!! The owners are so wonderful and have created "heaven on earth"! The place is decorated tastefully, the views are stunning, it's peaceful, close to downtown, lots to do or the perfect place to do nothing. Our accommodations were top of the line, there wasn't anything they didn't think of! The heated floors were a very nice touch given the cool October evenings and mornings. Barbara is an excellent cook and our breakfasts were like no others! If you want to be pampered and leave completely relaxed, then book this place for as long as you can. That was our only negative was not staying longer!!!

What a beautiful home and the views were amazing. Amenities were wonderful too!! I felt very comfortable. The breakfast was amazing! The sunrise from my room was beautiful as described on the website. I enjoyed drinking my coffee on the back porch looking out at the mountainsz Will definitely be going back!

A welcome respite from the drudgery of Washington DC where car horns and exhaust fumes can weary even the most seasoned of individuals. The location, the views, the tranquility of the surrounding vistas coupled with the caring hospitality of the proprietors made for an exceptional escape. I recommend The Brierley B & B without hesitation and look forward to another stay here when we return to the Lexington area.

The location in rolling hills is simply stunning. Couple that with charming rooms, excellent breakfasts and hosts who are kind and friendly. It’s a perfect spot for experiencing one of the most lovely small historical gems in Virginia.

From the moment we walked in we felt at home and comfortable with endless teas, water, sodas, and coffee at your finger tips. This is such a wonderful blessing. Our room was super comfortable with a beautiful view. Charlie, Barbara and Valker’s dog was our favorite!!! He greeted us with love and said good bye with love. He doesn’t bark and is so well behaved!!! We’ll be back to visit Charlie!!

This is our second visit to Brierly Hill and this visit was as outstanding as last year. It is such a welcoming place and every comfort has been thought of. The rooms are beautifully furnished and so comfortable. It is a joy to sit out on the porch overlooking the front fields and watch deer come out in the evening. Such gracious hosts and the breakfasts are truly gourmet. It is also lovely to be greeted by Charlie the Golden Retriever upon arrival. We hope to return again and enjoy such a relaxing place.
