The hotel is located in a picturesque bay. There are no other hotels around, no noise. This is definitely a place for people who want to experience peace and quiet while listening to the sound of cicadas :) The hotel offers car rental (as of July 2023, the cheapest option was €41/day). You can easily travel around the entire island in one day. There is a free bus from the hotel to the capital of the island (Samos) (timetable available at the reception). We went to the city for 3 hours and that was definitely enough - the capital is not geared towards tourists, you can see what everyday life of Greeks looks like, unspoilt by commercialism. I recommend shopping there! (definitely a wider selection than in the mini market next to the hotel). In the middle of the season (!) the bus was empty, we had a "private" ride. The hotel staff was helpful, everyone spoke English. Rooms of a good standard, air conditioning works well. Thoroughly cleaned every day, towels changed every 3-7 days. From the hotel, go down the stairs to the pier/beach of the hotel next door, which you can use after buying something in the local bar (affordable prices). Pool is fine, no fighting for sunbeds. Likewise on the pier. In the middle of the season, in July, it was sometimes completely empty (+ :)). Next to the hotel, in a bay, there is a tiny town called Kerveli (5-minute walk downhill), where there is a small shop (above) + 2 taverns. You can buy the most necessary things there. Breakfast buffet - you can sit inside or outside overlooking the sea. You can choose from bread, cheese, cold meats, eggs (fried, omelettes), sausages, fruit, cereals with milk, yogurt with jam/fruit, many baked goods (salty and sweet cookies). During breakfast, you can use a coffee machine, a juice machine or a water jug. As for dinners - also in buffet form. Every morning, the menu for a given day appeared in the canteen. During our stay, there were, for example, fries, souvlaki, fish, all kinds of meat, potatoes, pasta, lasagne - a lot to choose from, and there were always fresh vegetables + salads. The only downside is that you always have to pay for drinks with dinner - whether it's water or alcohol. I believe that a carafe of water should be on every table without having to pay for it. In such a situation, I recommend purchasing packs of water (and more ;)) from a nearby store :) Next to the swimming pool there is a bar with drinks and food (you can eat lunch there while waiting for dinner). There are many places within the hotel where you can sit and enjoy the beautiful views. I highly recommend going to the pier when it's already dark! You can see the stars beautifully :) A place worth recommending if someone wants to fully relax and experience peace and quiet.
