Baker's Cay Resort Key Largo, Curio Collection by Hilton

Great hotel, all the staff, from the second you pull up in the car are fantastic. The towel guy went and got extra sunloungers — nothing seems too much, which is how you want to feel on vacation. Have to give a special mention to the lovely bingo game lady, she was very entertaining. They have a bit of beach that’s nice and a great place on the rocks for cocktails. Rooms are nice and spacious. The pool is small but the beach more than makes up for it. Will definitely stay again when in Key Largo.

This hotel does not look like the photos, don’t be fooled. The staff are absolutely vile! We arrived late after a long drive and we’re greeted by two okay receptionists but not very accommodating then we walked to room and there was blood on the couch and the room was unclean so we rang reception and asked to move rooms and got no joy. We then got the front desk manager called Janelle and wow she was like cruella de vil, she was soooo rude i have actually never been spoke to like that in my life. She was patronising and condescending and made us feel like it was our fault that the rooms was dirty. She showed us another room and said ‘be careful where you step don’t leave footprints’and then we opened the curtains to see the view and she raised her voice and said ‘don’t touch the window because we’d have to clean them then’ we was all dumbfounded, more rudeness for absolutely no reason. We was all silent. Then we went back to the reception to discuss if we could actually move and she went full blown rant about how it’s clean and just not our standard of clean, like what does that even mean! If it’s dirty it’s dirty end of. We still never even uttered a wrong word back just felt so awkward and uncomfortable at her tone and the was she was speaking and explaining it to us so we went in to the lobby to discuss what to do as none of the rooms were any better than the first unclean one and one of the other receptionists who was there for the rant came over and said ignore her don’t understand why she’s being like that and she was shocked at how she’s spoke to us 🙈 we then just rang trip and they sorted and refund for us and we had to pay a lot more money for another hotel and didnt arrive until 1 am we were so tired. She was slo quite smug when we said we wouldn’t be staying which is strange like why would you not want people to stay at your hotel. So the moral of the story is do not book this hotel, i also think Hilton would be upset at the standards of it as it’s definitely not a curio collection hotel, it’s run down and old.

This hotel looks nothing like the photo online and we arrived late after a long flight and drive! This staff was terrible not helpful at all the two receptions girls was nice but the hotel front desk manger Janelle was absolutely horrible spoke to us rude from the start! And our room had blood stains and everything it’s cost us a $700 dollars to move hotel that night! We didn’t feel safe to leave our bags etc to stay! Was there to start the celebration for our honeymoon with our friends and it was very upsetting for all of us! Never experienced anything like this and the way she spoke to us!

I had an amazing experience with my friends there! The staff is very friendly, the food is delicious, they give you a very nice bottle of water to refill, I had complimentary fruit at the beach, the resort fee included kayaking, padle boat and other water sports. I will definitely go back to this wonderful hotel with my whole family.

DISAPPOIN**ENT BEYOND WORDS. Went for a wedding. We booked an oceanfront suite only to find the bedroom wall adjacent to the elevator machine room. The noise from it made it impossible to rest before dinner and kept us awake at night. They had no other rooms to move us and told us the elevator is shutdown from 8PM until 8 AM. This was not true as we were woken up from it before 7AM and it was still running after 11 at night. The room should not be rented. The quality of service was non-existent. Disappoin**ent is an understatement.

The staff of Baker’s Cay made our visit so special, as we were celebrating our wedding anniversary! The facility was well maintained, employees always cleaning and friendly! There were many niceties such as Champion at Sunset, Blood Orange Sangria as a welcoming drink and somores at sun pest too! Two beaches one more private than the other. Water activities. Pool for adults and family. Volleyball court. Ping pong table. Bicycles. Food was delicious, with specials features each night. Special kudos to Max, Lilly, Lisa, Meghan, Ansley, and Que
