A nice resort with older bathrooms but renovated rooms. Water trips start right from the hotel. Otherwise the price is completely over the top plus a $40 resort fee, which is well over $300 per night just for one night.

We stayed here for 3 nights during our tour of the Florida Keys. The actual resort is great (although maybe a little run down), but the pools and beach area make up for it. Our room was not the best (facing out over the reception area) but we didn't spend a lot of time in it, so it was OK. We did have a couple of maintenance issues - when we got there the safe wouldn't work (it just needed new batteries) but this was sorted out quickly. We also had to have maintenance out a couple of times to fix the toilet which wasn't so good. Plenty of storage space though and we slept OK. The location of this place is ideal for exploring and you get free self-parking which is great. The pool was huge, the beach was gorgeous and Breezers Bar was a great place to relax in the evening. Breakfast in the restaurant was OK.

Nice resort with great amenities & excellent staff. Nice pool & beach area water sports & loved visiting the Mote Marine lab onsite. Only downside: located right off main highway so there's some street noise and if the weather isn't nice there's nothing to do.
